Worst premier inn ive ever stayed in.poor service.staff complaining.no proffesionilism.waiting 10 mins to check in whilst staff were talking outside. Overall lack of experience. In my role i spend a lot of time in premier inns and this one is one i wont choose again.Although the chef was brilliant cooking and serving and the rooms are fantastic.

Great location. Good outlooks. Lifts needs cleaning. Duvet needed replacing.

NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! They have closed the accessible entrance and not stated a reason why aswell as no number to contact if wheelchair bound and the ramp isn't possible to get on with wheelchair as it is a rocky pathway to ramp. While the room itself and view was wonderful (the lift worked just fine thankfully) and the staff were alright as a disabled cane user it breaks my heart to see a lack of care for accessibility I sincerely hope this issue is resolved.

Breakfast if they can be bothered to come to your table and take your order, only 3 people in the restaurant, so they can?t use the excuse of they are busy.

Mixed review on this one. We attended an event at the motorpoint arena, its perfect for that as it was only a short walk away. The car park is on Your Parking Space. Don't panic if you look on the app and it shows as sold out, there appears to be only a small number of advance booking spaces available. We thought the car park was full, but got there to find plenty of spaces and a machine on the wall to pay when you leave.
We checked in at 4.30pm, end of June in a heatwave. We had a family room on the 5th floor, and found we were overlooking the venue across the water which was in full rave mode with unidentifiable music playing, as you could only hear (or rather, feel) the bass that made the walls shake. There was no aircon, the room thermostat showed 28 degrees. Thankfully a fan had been put in our room, but I had to take it apart and clean the large build up of dust off of it first.
The beds were made up with thick duvets (10 tog I think), so we took them out and slept under the empty covers.
Then we had to close the windows to reduce the noise so the kids could go to sleep. The room got a bit hotter, but thankfully they nodded off then we opened them again. Then at 10pm, the shaking stopped, and all was peaceful the rest of the night.
The staff were lovely, happily filling up water bottles of iced water throughout our stay.

28.5 degrees with no air conditioning. Hairdryer also broken. Did report to reception in the morning.

VERY HOT
Only complaint is there was no aircon so the room was very hot even with being able to open the window (which you can?t do at some premier inns) but that does not reflect on the lovely staff that that did their best by giving me a fan and an extra sheet

No air con! It was in the small print but we were told they had fans but we asked twice and were told none were available. Our room had full sun throughout the morning so was 28 degrees when we arrived and checked out. We did not pay the price of a budget hotel but had the budget hotel experience.
We'd left the windows and curtains open from late afternoon and over night but it was still too hot to sleep and quite loud at times. Loud music and people throughout the afternoon/night.
Also had a long wait to check in on arrival. No self service check in desks and 2 ladies were manning the bar and check in.
On site parking available at a price. Convenient for arena and train station. We paid extra for breakfast and food was good.

Good clean well maintained rooms. Great location if you need to be in central Nottingham for work, but noisy in the evening due to be next too music venue on canal side.
Helpful and friendly staff and fantastic breakfast cooked fresh and to order! Thank you.

This Premier Inn is one of the best I've stayed in. In an ideal location for anyone attending events at the Motorpoint Arena, it is just a five minute walk.
