“We live opposite, and it's great having the post office over the road. When we have used them for banking and returning parcels and arranging deliveries, they have been so helpful and always courteous. It is so important to keep these smaller shops and post offices open as all the bigger banks are now closing.Remember the older folk in your neighbourhood who would struggle without this facility. Very good access for wheelchair and pushchair users. The entrance is wide and all one level and smooth. You can also obtain cash from the counter, but you will need your bank card! There is parking for approx 8 cars on a first come serve basis, but off-street parking is also available. The shop also sells stationery in the shop. And when it's hot, they have air-conditioning which is nice to step into!.”

The place itself is small but sweet and located on a small roundabout. I suggest using maps to find the place if you're not familiar with the area, as I very nearly got lost myself.”

“Sami and Bali who run Ironville Post Office are always so friendly and helpful and recently went above and beyond expectations in helping me to post an urgent parcel that required Special Delivery, after I'd been told by another post office a couple of miles away that it was too late. I managed to rush back to them and Sami ensured my parcel was collected. I really can't thank them enough. They also give so much to their local community, amongst other things, donating and helping to co-ordinate food donations during the Covid lockdowns in 2020 and 2021. I really can't sing their praises enough. They are a credit to the Post Office and the community is lucky to have them.”
