I came in today to try on some shirts and to buy some trousers and the lady that served us had helped us throughout our shop and was very friendly at the till. I didn?t catch her name but she was wearing a hijab and there was another lady with her who was also very helpful. Thanks to you both and I will be coming back soon!

Perfect for anyone who wants to buy a suit last minute for a wedding the next following day. Shout out to amanda and carol for being so helpful. Its too bad 5 stars is the maximum rating because I would give them much more.

Bought a suit from here for a funeral and when I went to put it on ready to go to funeral realised jacket still had alarm tag under the arm pit!! So in the end could wear the jacket as was visible!! Why didn?t staff realise to take it off!?? Went through doors alarm went off staff checked and was then told all ok even though alarm went off again

It?s a shame that a store with such a great selection employs staff who are so rude and disrespectful to customers. Unfortunately, I don?t think I?ll be returning.

Staff benefit must have been very well for this store, as the staff seems expected to be off work the second after the scheduled store closing hour reached, whilst the staff ?proactively? expressing such ?joy? to everyone, especially to any customer that enter the shop in the final hour before it's closing time. Enter on your own risk if you decide to shop on the last hour of closing time, as you will received special greetings from the staff, that you think you have committed a serious crime for entering the shop alone before it?s closing time.

I recently had an unpleasant encounter at the Next Shopping Complex in Nottingham, UK, involving a manager named Amanda Sisson, we were visiting from the USA. Unfortunately, Amanda displayed not only unprofessionalism but also outright rude and discriminatory behavior during our interaction.
Her attitude was dismissive, condescending, and highly inappropriate for someone in a managerial role, especially in a diverse environment like the UK. It was shocking to witness subtle but clear racist undertones in her remarks, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable.
Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand's values. I sincerely hope Next re-evaluates the type of individuals they place in leadership roles, especially those representing the company internationally. No customer or employee should have to experience this type of treatment.

This young man who works here (Raheem) was very helpful and extremely distinguished gentleman, offering me assistance in all of my shopping exploits and queries. I don't know what he earns but it must be too low. He should be given a very generous pay rise immediately?????????. Please kindly accept this feedback above ??

If you want to return items bought from Next's website, beware that your presence is not welcome at the till. Apparently, this holds up the queue and you should use the self service return boxes. I personally have found the boxes unreliable, with returned items not credited.
I ordered a black dress for my mum's funeral in two sizes and returned the one that didn't fit. The shop was virtually empty and there was no queue at the till so I approached and asked to return the dress. The assistant did not want to serve me, even when I told her the problems I'd experienced with the self service returns. She dismissed me outright, stating it was 'absolutely impossible' that I hadn't been credited for previously returned items, because the system was failsafe. I stood by the fact that it wasn't, at which point she said I must be using it wrongly. She stated that me using the self service return made her life easier, with no regard to what made my life easier.
She wasn't to know that this was the first time I had left the house since my Mum's death - I was in a fragile state and her attitude was the last thing I needed. Perhaps she wouldn't have been so bullish if she'd known but regardless, surely her role is to help customers, not to treat them with contempt?
She kept trying to force me and wouldn't take no for an answer, until I said please stop being pushy, to which she took offence, serving me in sullen silence. Strangely enough, I didn't receive the invite to give customer service feedback like I usually do at the till - she didn't even bother to ask my name to confirm the return.
I held my tears back until I walked away, at which point I heard her muttering under her breath at me - how deeply unprofessional and rude!
Fast forward to today, when I needed to return another item to Next. Not wanting a repeat, I went straight to the self service return point, where I was instructed to place my return in box 1. Guess what? The boxes weren't numbered - according to the manager, the numbers had fallen off! So the returns method is failsafe, huh?!
Sort it out, Next Victoria Centre, before you lose any more customers.

The previous reviews about a manager named Lindsey were absolutely spot on. Get rid! I have never been spoken to in such a degrading manner in my life. I have been a long term customer of Next but if these are the type of people they are employing as managers, then I?m afraid I will be boycotting.

I go here regularly but this last week was treated appallingly!
I'm unwell on oxygen but as I took an item back began to feel very unwell in store.
I had started to be sick & was told I must leave the store.
I felt so vulnerable in the middle of town & no one to help.
I ended up collapsing & was taken by ambulance to hospital! Where I was admitted for 5 days very unwell.
I feel very let down & when better will visit in person to find the woman who was so unkind & confront her

Visited Next, womenswear dept. Found the staff very helpful and friendly. The young lady called Zakiya, who served me, had a cheerful and patient manner , went out of her way to provide the info I needed and helped with tricky decisions over sizing, ordering etc. A very pleasant experience.

Service with a snarl. I had the unfortunate predicament of actually needing to return some items while there was a sale on. Oh God forbid! Yes, there was a bit of a queue but to be told, "no" and then, "well, given the queue behind you, I suppose I have no choice". This was then finished off after the transaction with "There you go. Keep your bag". What an absolute disgrace of a service. It's not my fault that you're short on staff or everyone has disappeared just when it gets busy. You state 7 day returns in sale items, so I either do it then or lose my money?! If you can't be nice to customers, get out of the job.
