I recently visited Nando?s near Nottingham Showcase and had a good experience overall. The food was tasty and well-prepared, with the classic flavours I always enjoy.
The service was friendly and efficient, with staff ensuring everything was brought out promptly. The atmosphere was decent, though it felt a bit busy and noisy at times, which is to be expected in a popular spot.
Parking: Plenty of car parking spaces now that the Frankie & Benny?s has been demolished!

I typically do not write reviews; however, I felt compelled to share my experience during my initial visit to this establishment, prompted by my son?s request. He has frequented this chain before but had not previously visited this specific location. Upon entering, my first impression was that the environment was quite cold. I took note that many patrons were dining while still wearing their coats, which struck me as rather unusual and somewhat unacceptable, especially considering that one is paying for a dining experience that requires sitting still. It was evident that even the staff appeared uncomfortable, as they were walking around in T-shirts. The service could have been improved; it seemed to be staffed mostly by young students who lacked engagement and were primarily focused on completing transactions rather than providing quality service. While placing our order, my partner, child, and I experienced an oversight, as one item was missing. To my surprise, a senior manager informed us of this discrepancy before I had the opportunity to raise the issue myself, suggesting an awareness of their staff's shortcomings. This experience marked the beginning of an unfortunate series of events. Had I been aware of what awaited me upon my return home, I might have acted differently. I experienced significant abdominal discomfort, which resulted in diarrhea and illness. Unfortunately, I even fainted while using the restroom, which was quite an embarrassing situation. In summary, I do not intend to visit this establishment again.

Atmosphere always great, but very busy! Food wasn't hot, and drinks arrived after the starters, after prompting! Staff are warm and welcoming and do try their best, but last visit missed the mark of usual Nandos standard

Unfortunately, the vegetarian beanie pitta was cold. We even complained and the second one was also cold, the waitress told us this is fresh, when in fact everything was ice cold from a freezer...
On the plus side the chicken was good, and the front desk staff were helpful.

Loved the variety of foods, the options for plain to hot ?. Very busy evening yet still able to be seated. Meals took a lil longer than normal - as advised by my daughter and her husband.

Absolutely Brilliant! Everything about this place was amazing! Service was extremely quick - we weren't even waiting 5 minutes for food after ordering, lovely atmosphere, patient and helpful staff that helped us when ordering, all of our food was delicious, other members of our party are already booking their revisits in their calendars! Would 100% recommend to anyone who is thinking of coming here - the price us expensive, but it is due to the quality of food you are being served - Thank you Nando's!!!
Dietary restrictions: Staff were very helpful in explaining what had nuts and what didn't have Nuts and provided the choice to remove any dietary restrictions in the food for a member of our group.
