????? Nando's Cornerhouse ? A Decades-Long Affair with Perfection
Step aside, mere mortals?Nando?s Cornerhouse isn?t just a restaurant; it?s a well-oiled, flame-grilled machine of joy that has kept me coming back for decades. Yes, decades. Some people have lifelong pen pals; I have lifelong peri-peri chicken, and honestly, I think I?m winning.
The service here? Exemplary. Friendly, efficient, and dare I say, downright humane. These folks aren?t just taking your order; they?re crafting an experience. You could arrive in the foulest of moods, but by the time they greet you with those radiant smiles, you?ll be asking them to adopt you.
And then there?s the food. Always amazing, always consistent, always so good it deserves its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The chicken is cooked to such tender perfection that I?m convinced the grills here have a direct line to the culinary gods. Pair it with the freshest, most flavorful sides, and you have a meal that?s both unforgettable and entirely too easy to devour in record time.
Cleanliness? Immaculate. The tables shine, the atmosphere sparkles, and even the air feels somehow fresher. And speaking of atmosphere, the vibe strikes the perfect balance: lively enough to feel exciting, yet cozy enough to make you linger over just one more sauce-laden chip.
Let?s not forget the speed. Our food arrived so fast, I briefly entertained the idea that they had a secret underground chicken pipeline. It?s not just efficiency; it?s art.
In short, Nando?s Cornerhouse is the kind of place that makes you grateful for good food, great people, and the simple joys of a meal done perfectly every single time. Here?s to decades more of culinary brilliance. Bravo, Nando?s?you?ve outdone yourselves yet again. ??
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan options. Have had vegetarian relatives eat here and love it too, not feeling left out/disappointed/bored etc. Exciting, inclusive menu for them too.
Dietary restrictions: They can compensate for all needs, they have a dedicated allergens guide and staff can help as needed. My diabetic relative has been able to eat there thanks to help from their guide and staff.
Parking: At least two dedicated parking lots nearby within few minutes walking distance maximum. Pay to park. One of them is massive too.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect restaurant for kids. Pure happiness for them. Very family friendly, cheery vibes, fun, relaxing, feel good. They will love the limitless drinks and frozen yoghurt. Staff are really friendly, courteous and will make them feel welcome. Great, heatlhy, delicious options for kids meals too. I've had child relatives loving visiting Nando's and they love it as much as I have since I was a teenager (a long time ago now).
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface/ground floor, there is an upstairs seating area but only stairs up there I believe unfortunately. But you can eat on ground floor of course, assuming space available.

Went for an early dinner yesterday. The food came quickly and was delicious, as always. Special mention for Dan, who was super helpful and friendly.

When me and my group (7 in total) arrived the restaurant seemed quite busy but our server dan was really helpful and quick to get us seated. There was a struggle due to how many there were but he gave us a few options and we all sat together in the end. The food was great given my large order of a whole chicken and 3 sides everything was cooked to a high standard and tasted amazing. Dan also checked on us to make sure everything was good and made sure our seating arrangement didn?t have any issues. Overall it was a great experience and i hope a big shoutout goes to our server for how amazing and helpful he was.

Great experience! Have always loved visiting Nandos.

Food was nice, came quickly, good value. One staff member had an argument with one of our table seemingly over nothing, only to be corrected by her manager and apologise and bring over the disputed dish.

This is one of the better Nando?s I?ve been to and we?ve been quite a few times now - the loaded fries are always loaded and you get a good portion, the chicken can be a bit dry but it is hit or miss. The staff are friendly and the service is average, it can take a while for the food to get there especially when it?s busy. Overall, I would recommend the loaded fries here.
Dietary restrictions: Good with gluten free options - most of their chicken is gluten free!

Visited this dirty restaurant last night very anti disabled staff as soon has we got in the look on their faces we knew that they didn't want us there because we happened to be in two power chairs and we had arrived for my granddaughter birthday and the staff couldn't be arsed to help so I won't be recommending this dirty so called restaurant the place looked like it needed a clean the the entrance door was sticky and needed a bloody good clean I have thought about getting environmental health in see what rating they give it because if it was myself the place would be closed down permanently

Food is good, Ambience is good, Service is good. But i personally feel not that much for a hype. We had half chicken with 2 sides, loaded fries and wings.

I recently tried Nando's new Fanta Orange-flavored chicken, and as always, the food was spot on. I ordered 4 thighs, 2 garlic breads, peri chips, and 3 wings with the new flavor. The wings were a pleasant surprise?subtle spice with a sweet, citrusy hint of orange that worked perfectly. However, the thighs were a bit of a letdown. The flavors weren?t as noticeable, likely due to the thicker meat and longer basting time, which seemed to dilute the orange zest. In short, I?d definitely recommend the wings with this new flavor, but I'd skip it for the thighs.
