I visited this shop with my young daughter to buy a tea and a Monster energy drink. However, the staff member refused to let me buy the energy drink and even took it away from me at the till ? without any proper explanation.
If there is a specific rule or age-related policy for purchasing energy drinks, it should be clearly communicated with signs or notices. I am an adult and was buying the drink for myself, so I do not understand why I was refused service.
I would appreciate it if the store could explain what this ?special rule? is, so I can inform others and avoid this kind of impolite and uncomfortable shopping experience in the future.

Amazing store! With very friendly staff and the best bread in town!!! I shop there every Saturday, particularly a specific bread that is made just for me! Yes! A lovely Ben who works at the bakery bakes 2 of them just for me is amazing! Every Sat when I walk in, they are ready for a pick up! He is always polite and approachable and anything I need, he will sort! He definately need a recognition for his customer service!

Be careful with the reductions on items, I went in there about 7:00pm and there was some fresh Chicken Kievs which had a yellow sticker on with around £1 off the original £5 price, I didn't check the use by date as tbh with that little amount off the RRP I'd have expected it to have at least 2 days left to eat, I get home and then noticed it was use by the same day?! This is shocking and it left me feeling like I had been robbed.

I was looking to purchase something from your refrigerated area, and an assistant came up and literally pulled the shutter down on me as I was trying to get something. I went to complain and he literally just kept laughing and saying ?I?m ever so sorry? in a really sarcastic manner - I?m appalled
