I am giving a 5 star review as when I was in the store Christmas shopping I dropped one of my shopping bags. It could have been any where in town. Today I called at customer services to see if it had been handed in as lost property, and to my pleasant suprise it had. So to the staff member or customer who handed it in, and the customer services who looked after it Thank You

I had a problem with a purchase from the Nottingham branch of John Lewis. I returned the item to the store today and was dealt with by staff member Arti Sood in the audio and tv department. I cannot praise this lady enough. She was patient and friendly throughout the whole interaction. She was very thorough in dealing with our issue bringing it to a successful conclusion.We have purchased numerous products from John Lewis and never had any problems. It?s reassuring to know that having a problem that it was dealt with in such efficient and pleasant manner thanks again to Arti for being efficient and pleasant

I just had the best retail experience of my life at John Lewis in Nottingham?s Victoria Centre. I had the pleasure of spending time with Kolin as part of a men?s personal stylist session and not only came away with a bundle of new clothes ? but also a much better understanding of what suits me and how to make the most of what I?ve already got. (I?d never heard of 2/3s rule!). I will certainly be coming back!

I brought some items in the shop and took them to the paid gift wrapping section to be wrapped. I had an extra item which was not from John Lewis which I was happy to pay for to be wrapped also. I politely asked whether she could wrap this as a gesture of goodwill, but she refused.
In the end I discovered the Nottinghamshire Hospice who were running a gift wrapping service a few doors down. They were more than happy to oblige for a small charitable contribution which worked out well.
Not a very Christmassy experience from John Lewis Nottingham and more Grinch worthy.

Had a small problem with box being slightly damaged on delivery. Nothing was too much trouble for Hadrian the Customer Experience Partner. He offered a refund or an exchange which I went with the exchange. Then when I couldn?t drop at a John Lewis ( non local to me ) he provided me with a QR code to send it back via my local store. Nothing at any point was any or too much trouble. Well done John Lewis for employing great people like Hadrian and well done Hadrian

Keeley on the tech floor helped me so much with my refund she gave the best customer service ever. I had some problems with the refund process and she helped me to sort it all out. I?m honestly beyond happy. THANK YOU SO MUCH KEELEY DESERVES A PAY RISE!!!

We had full English breakfasts in the Nottingham John Lewis and it was awful quality. The poached eggs were tiny and hard, the tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns had been cooked ages before and left to dry out - unpleasant oiliness. We were told there was no bacon (!) so had an extra sausage (over-cooked) and there was no butter for the toast. All-in-all a thoroughly disappointing experience. Never undersold?

What has happened to the famous JL personal service ?
Needing product advice from my local store, I phoned the local number given on my Google search.
After many options, I was answered by an overseas call centre, who could not redirect my enquiry to the store.

The staff where rude, got kicked out because I wasn?t hungry and only my friend ordered. I wasn?t allowed to sit with my friend whilst he ate for a stupid/invalid reason. The WiFi doesn?t even work. It?s always very busy, highly don?t recommend. Never ran into an issue before that and I used to come regularly with friends, many people didn?t buy things but for some reason we were the only people being targeted, not sure for what reason could be racism or ageism or any sort of reason. This has really changed my opinion on the staff and John Lewis overall. Will not be coming back after that horrendous event. After being told the cafe was for paying customers only I decided to leave without creating any fuss. Although I was followed around the entire shop by about 3 workers so didn?t even feel comfortable shopping there. If they can?t even apologise or anything to make it right, what?s the point of returning after getting shouted at and embarrassed infront of the public. With that sort of staff I will be recommending all of my friends which go there to never go there again!!!

The staff were extremely rude to me and the food was mediocre
