I stayed at Holiday Inn Nottingham and had a very disappointing experience. While I was out of the room, the cleaning staff threw away my Nike trainers which were placed neatly in a shopping bag. What?s shocking is that the shoes had been in the same spot, in the same bag, for 3 days without issue ? but on the 4th day they were discarded without my consent.
Since then, I have been trying to reach out to the team regarding this incident, but I?ve received no real response. Instead of addressing the issue, they have been making excuses and dodging the complaint.
This shows a serious lack of security and accountability, and I felt that the treatment I received was careless and dismissive. For a hotel brand of this reputation, I expected much better. Very poor experience.

Our team come here every year and every year we enjoy our stay. The rooms are big, the beds super comfortable, breakfast is one of the best and the staff are great. Always polite and warm. The hotel is also very clean.

Nice hotel. A 20 minute walk from the railway station along the canal bank. Good place for business meetings.

Regulation Holiday Inn but rooms are larger than normal. Service is very good. Food offer - breakfast is excellent and covers all tastes - hot, continental, and drinks - evening meals available. Cleanliness is excellent. The location is a bit out of town, but transport is available- Uber taxis are very reasonable. Parking is ample at £5 per 24 hours. There is a pub locally plus Sainsburys and fast food outlets. Worth consideration if visiting Nottingham .
