Went in last week and some chunky build blonde woman who I believe was a manager was giving me dirty looks and making snarky comments under her breath when I asked where I could find clothes section for my little son. Horrendous customer service.will never be going to this store again!!!

For a new store, there are only 2 manned tills which is bonkers considering how popular this shop is! Plus with payable returns it seems more people are now returning in store slowing things down even more..
Even in the week there are usually long queues. Queues for changing rooms too even in week typically.
Staff have been nice and good range of clothing. The queues put me off though!

35 minute queue for till and only 1 self check out open. 4 staff on in the whole store and 50 people waiting for service. Absolute joke and staff don't care. Stood watching and smiles all round.

i wouldn?t normally leave a bad review and for a place like h&m it won?t make a difference to their sales, usually the staff at the victoria centre store are lovely and helpful, but today not so much? i went in hoping to change the size of a pair of shorts i had bought two days before, i had taken the tags off which i know isn?t ideal but having seen items back on the racks with hand written tags and having worked for h&m before i would?ve hoped it would be okay with the receipt and how recently i?d bought the shorts. unfortunately something must?ve spilt in my bag which meant they had got damp and i was quite embarrassed and quickly apologised and understood i wouldn?t be able to make the exchange. the issue i had was that the woman who served me on the till was quite rude and judgemental, i know retail isn?t the most glamorous job and some customers are difficult but how she handled the interaction just made me feel awful, my point is you never know how someone?s day might be going and the least they could do is try not to make it worse.

Since moving from the other location. The younger boys section is really poor! Can not find half the things available online. It?s more catered to girls clothes only

The selection recently has just gotten so much worse. It seems like we get the leftovers from Meadow Hall.
Additionally, all of the clothes are creased and wrinkled so even when I find something cut I can't even really see what it looks like on because it's practically folded in half.
There's just a lack of care shown for the products.
However, the stars it gets are due to the staff who all seem to have great customer service skills despite the shops failings.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and a lovely member of staff Mancy helped me with my vouchers.

They really need to go up to men's XXL, they only go up to XL which seems discriminating against the larger man and frustrating if you are going for an oversized fit. Also, the self checkouts are the worst! Customers should get the staff discount for the effort and stress of shopping there.

Not enough changing rooms, rude staff, low quality products, no clear refund policy, the self check outs NEVER WORK or out of 4 only 1 is open, I do not recommend shopping here. Do not waste your time.

I got a 25% birthday membership discount, I looked and see a few items online to go in to look at in store but none the items were in stock, A lot of shelves bare and the items that were in stock were all overpriced, poor quality & man made material items!!!!!
With H&M the quality seems to be getting worse and prices are going higher

I rarely go into town to shop as I have two children under 3 and no childcare.
This morning I had no choice as I needed some items quickly. I was quite looking forward to seeing the new store as I love H&M and I haven?t been shopping in years at an actual shop.
When in the store it was a struggle as both of my children at different points decided to have a meltdown. By the end I couldn?t chance the changing rooms as my 10 month old had started to cry so I quickly whipped through the items I had in-front of a mirror whilst trying to console her.
I watched a member of staff repeatedly watching me so that the second I went to purchase what I could she made a sarcastic comment about me leaving (neatly) the items I didn?t want on a rack.
I totally understand it?s frustrating, but imagine how much more frustrating it is for me that I know my child is about to go to level ten meltdown in seconds and I literally need to get out of there as quickly as possible. I had no chance to do anything else. When I pointed out to her I?m having a rubbish time as she has seen and I literally don?t have time to return things she made another jibe about how she will put them back then with an attitude.
I?m all honesty I was so upset and flustered that I left the store with nothing but a few tears.
Literally ruined my day and made a hard situation for me 20x worse.
I won?t be going back.
I don?t understand why staff take it as such a personal insult when people literally can?t get in the changing rooms so instead of handing the stuff to the return rail, it goes on another rail in a rush. You can see the reason why that might be the situation.
Maybe some compassion would be nice to some sleep deprived, stressed and emotional mothers? It?s tough going out there for us. Could?ve potentially asked if I needed a hand actually? Would?ve gone a long way to stopping a breakdown today xx
