This place isn?t what is used to be
Steak was tasteless and should have been medium to medium rare, but was well done, the burger made me feel physically ill and the price is extortionate for what you get. Used to be an amazing place but it?s a shame to see how far down the drain it?s gone.
1 star is not low enough, save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Well first time going today took 50 mins for food to come out i had the ribeye steak medium it was really fatty and raw wife's chicken burger was poor
On the good side of it the waitress amelia was really pleasant

Steaks we're very nice cooked as requested sides were nice classic chicken burger partner wasnt keen, service was slow took 50 mins from being seated to Start seeing food arriving at the table, it was Saturday night however still slow in my personal opinion.

Went for the bottomless brunch - food and service was brilliant and speedy, we had a total of 8 cocktails each in the 1.5 hours and could not fault that. However, what the menu doesn?t mention is that some of the cocktails have less alcohol in them when you are bottomless brunching compared to if you were buying them separately and paying full price, for example the pornstar martini does not come with the Prosecco shot in the bottomless brunch and has 25ml of alcohol in compared to the usual 50ml. We were also told that other of the cocktails that usually contain 50ml of alcohol are put down to 25ml for the bottomless. We only asked about this after we received our final cocktails which did not contain any alcohol. This was rectified immediately but left us questioning how many of our prior cocktails contained little/no alcohol.

On the way to the theatre ordered a 5oz fillet and that is all thst comes nothing else £17.50 at lunchtime had to then pay £5.75 for sides and £1.75 for miniscule gravy

Went on NYE was fairly busy but not busy enough for service to be as bad as it was. Took an hour to get our food and once we got it, it was lukewarm and clearly had been sitting for a while. Once we had finished the food it took over half an hour to find a server, as there were only 2 around the whole restaurant, to take away our plates and get the bill, other people?s plates and drinks were everywhere all over the tables where they hadn?t been taken in over an hour. Food was nice just a shame about the service.

Looking for somewhere to eat, after the theatre, popped into this Son of Steak.
We were served immediately, food arrived quickly, which was delicious!! And the cost was very reasonable too!! All round great experience
