Why would a Greggs in the city centre market square at 0745hrs have only one member of staff on duty???
People were unhappily queuing out of the door.
If the manageress is cutting back on staff costs to meet budgets then she needs to rethink. Thousands of people pass through the city on their way to work every morning.
To go in at commuter time and find no sandwiches in the fridge, no fruit and one member of staff??? Ridiculous.

Most staff are polite and nice, and service is efficient for the most part
One young girl (Afro ethnicity with short curly hair) is always very rude to me when served. It's not nice to be treated this way with a blank facial expression whom lacks empathy and warmth. She needs customer service training I feel. It puts me off and makes me feel at unease. Some respect from the young girl would be much appreciated and then it would be a much happier place for everyone!

Rudest service ever from a young black girl who works there. If she's that angry to be there then she should definitely get a job elsewhere. I'll be going elsewhere after the experience I received.
