Uneducated and ridiculous person working here at ~17:20 on 27/1/25.
I watched her very rudely make someone, who had a name that?s very commonly unisex, confirm their gender in front of everyone. She thought it was only a male name and clearly thought the person was lying much to everyone else?s bemusement and asked if they were a girl (there was an audible gasp from everyone).
It was very uncomfortable to watch, especially considering the person could have been non-binary or trans and so been more upset than they were at the indignity.
Also a man in front had just picked up his wife?s prescription? I have picked up my partners before without being questioned? This felt very much like the woman was victimising the person for their androgynous appearance.
I would prefer that the people dispensing my medications were:
A. Educated enough to know the common names that are unisex, can she dispense medication properly if lacking basic common sense?
B. More sensitive to gender identity working in a public facing role, especially in healthcare, as the person could easily have been very upset.

I have ADHD and am 76 yrs old. I asked to have a notification text when my meds were ready to be collected. They said they do not have this service. I have had to find a pharmacy does.

Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. 4 staff in there. Then told no it?s not ready despite it being sent Tuesday. I did ask Wednesday but hadn?t done it then. Can?t? be sick at the weekend at this pharmacy. Switched to new pharmacy. Rubbish service.

couldnt get an urgent GP appt and was advised to go to pharmacy. Maria was patient, caring and professional, she prescribed antibiotics and followed up with advice and a call to check on me. She was incredible and I am so grateful she was there, the NHS snd GPs are overwhelmed, it so good to have alternatives with caring professionals who you can rely on. Thank you again Maria,

Just had my vaccine at the pharmacy. Maria was very helpful and friendly and administered the vaccine without any pain. Didn?t have to wait long either. Great pharmacist

Staff member shouting personal details of woman at front of line for the whole queue of customers to hear, so embarassing, her boss the pharmacist just thought it was funny. Never setting foot in there again, will go to Boots for prescriptions. Next door to the worst medical practice in town too, probably no coincidence.

I have never spoken to a so called professional so rude in my life. This so called caring pharmacist has left a 92 year old in the community with no medication since Wednesday. You should be ashamed of yourself. Awful service awful owner.

The way he treated a woman was unbelievable. The way he spoke to her; zero customer service skills. Patronising language and his colleagues were laughing - unbelievable. Completely unprofessional behaviour from a manager. No woman should be treated this way! Avoid avoid avoid!
