“Really great experience here today. To customer service. Store was due to close in ten minutes, but the two members of staff who helped me were really pleasant and cheerful! They knew where the product that I needed would be as it had been moved. The tall chap with dreads and a lovely smile served me at the till, and Clyde, whose was so helpful, offered to carry the heavy bags of coal out to my car! He’s obviously used to this as three bags were no problem for him!Their help and friendliness was much appreciated on such a dismal rainy day! Thanks!?”

“I do like this M&S branch. Traditional city centre store on four floors. It's been in this building more or less forever - certainly remember going with my mum in the 70s. Being spread over four floors can make it a bit of a chore getting around but at least it makes exploring the shop more interesting then some bland out of town warehouse (looking at you M&S Fosse Park). Has a good sized cafe area on the first floor and large food hall in the basement. Hope this doesn't end up being another city centre store M&S decides to dump.”

“Great place to go and visit. They have all sorts of things like clothes, shoes, garden, birds, games, kitchen ideas. Staff are friendly and will help you if you can't find anything.”

“It’s a good store overall. Two floors and free parking ?? doesn’t always have the best stock however, especially for the more premium items. Lots of out of fashion and seasonal left overs, feels like thrifting to try and find anything good.”

“Everything you need in one store its brilliant love how much choice there is avaliable but unfortunately the only downside was how rude the staff were at the tills, no smiles, no hellos I even helped her empty the basket and she huffed at me and she couldn't even look at me it made us feel disappointed at the end.”

Have always liked this shop and the high standard of staff they appear to employ as the customer service always seems to be spot on.
Best thing though is the sales and promotions you benefit from at certain times of the year.

“After looking for holiday clothes, the one place I hadn't tried was Peacocks because I didn't realise they had larger sizes....my daughter persuaded me to try them ...and I got 4 nice items for my holiday.... certainly going there again....the staff are so nice there xx”

“I am giving a 5 star review as when I was in the store Christmas shopping I dropped one of my shopping bags. It could have been any where in town. Today I called at customer services to see if it had been handed in as lost property, and to my pleasant suprise it had. So to the staff member or customer who handed it in, and the customer services who looked after it Thank You”

“Today i went to Castle Boulevard Argos to return an item that i had collected a few hours before, this was an extension wire. Drew served me, and gave me various safety hazard tips which i did not know before, in regards to extension wires and what we can/can't plug into them. He informed me that we shouldn't plug in a heater plug into an extension wire as it is a fire hazard: and that for other items, we should invest in a surge extension wire, which when i came home, straight away i ordered. I have strictly warned everyone at home that they should not plug in their heaters in an extension wire. Thank you very much Drew for the advice and tips. Even though it was very busy, Drew took his time in explaining everything to me. So nice of him! Very nice and helpful!”

“I came in today to try on some shirts and to buy some trousers and the lady that served us had helped us throughout our shop and was very friendly at the till.
