Exceptional service from very friendly staff member.
I was having coffee outside with my friend & my dog. It's a hot day.I had forgotten my dog's drink. I asked for a drink for my dog. Staff member went out of his way to go and fetch me a dog bowl & ran the tap so my dog got a fresh cold drink.
Made the whole visit so much more comfortable.

I absolutely love visiting this Costa because of the exceptional service received by the staff on every occasion. As a former Bingham resident, I would pass by and grab a quick coffee but the staff quickly welcomed me. They would always encourage me to download the app (which I eventually did) and it has allowed me to gather countless benefits. Aside from this, the staff are always in high spirits, mega friendly and make visited the branch such an enjoyed experience - even for take out coffee.

Not so busy, about five tables unoccupied yet most had dirty cups and plates or were generally dirty, as was the floor. The barista whilst mixing my cappuccino held the cup edges (from where I'd be drinking it from) with his grubby fingers. And, he wiped the steam spout with a very dirty cloth! Not good.

This was my 4th visit here and have had bad drinks in the past But gave them one last shot?.Ordered a salted caramel brownie, a cappuccino and a Kit Kat hot chocolate. The lad on the counter was a very nice, polite and advisable chap which is why I didn?t give this 1 star But unfortunately although I did get (this time) a good cup of coffee- who?d of thought- I got home to eat my brownie and apart from the fact it was stuck to the paper and wasn?t squashed or damaged in transit! Overall it was dry, not much caramel and was a Very weird taste to it that I binned half of it, sacrilege I know! & I love cakes and doughnuts but sorry that tasted like it was baked days and days ago and I cook and bake myself so I have a good idea!
To get 1, Maybe 2 good cups of coffee out of 4 visits to a coffee shop is my biggest gripe! There?s an art and almost scientific way to make coffee and I?ve complained on the app before when both me and my mrs received horrible hot drinks and when you treat yourself once a while and it?s just not on pa, it?s not good enough. Costa never even git back to me which was disappointing but you know what I will make sure I get a coffee from Starbucks next time as I?ve been there 4 times over the last few months and it?s Always a great cup of coffee! Sorry guys but step your game up- you get better drinks outta a machine!
