I went to this store last week, and it was the worse service I have ever had. If Carlsberg made racist coffee then Costa coffee Nottingham drive through would be it's flag ship store. I guarantee you all the people who said the store was great are Caucasian. If you're Black, young and successful Costa coffee in Nottingham is NOT the place for you. The Caucasian lady who served me was the embodiment of racist discrimination.....she served x2 Caucasian man with such manners and respect, their coffee's were looking perfect. When it came to me, it was just bad, nothing like the service given to Caucasian men. What the hell is that all about. I did not drink the coffee and left it on the desk....lastly I was the only Black person in the shop at that time.....what's that all about? I have to give a star for it to be published, google need to offer minus stars.say -5 for example.

Toilets disgusting, no toilet paper . Hand soap dispenser practically touching the sink so you can?t access soap. Tables from previous guests not cleaned . Counter service with no friendly welcoming approach .

We called in as traffic was horrendous. I used the disabled toilet which had seen better days. No paper,hand dryer switched off which i reported. Hot drinks average, had to ask for one to be topped up as looked like half measure,cakes average. Place was untidy,vacant tables not cleared of previous user's cups. Biggest gripe is individual students taking up tables meant for four people. Shan't be calling in here again. Automatic door not working either.

I gave 4 stars because the wk after a wonderful time supporting friends at Costa who had recently been bereaved. I received a £100 parking charge reduced to £60 for over staying in the car park so pls be aware.
The strange thing is no one else in the group received a charge and I was the last one to arrive, 25mins late!!!

Excellent inside experience, great staff, and the food is genuinely good too. The seating is very comfortable and good however sometimes it?s busy and you may be left with the uncomfortable seats which I believe should just be removed.
To begin with the food, the bakery selection is quite delicious in terms of taste and you could say almost perfect in presentation. They also are quick with serving and will ensure you receive it warm. The only issue is that the majority of the time, the good food may be out of stock and they do take a while to restock.
The service, let?s just say it?s a 5 star service indeed. Staff are amazing and always cleaning around the store to ensure you don?t have any problems with dirt; they?re also quick to help and are happy when they do so.
The overall atmosphere inside the restaurant is great, and majority of the seating is very comfortable; also accommodating private areas for those whom would like to study quietly. However I will say that their outside seating isn?t very well kept and could be improved in terms of maintenance.
Overall, this specific branch will scrape a 5 star, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone reading this review.

I have been attending Costa Castle
Marina for over 10 years, since Covid the staff professionalism and competencies and levels of service have declined to a whole new level.
I was attempting to give my order to a member of staff only to be completely ignored as they were working on their headsets speaking to colleagues and the drive-through.
Sohm call it progress I call it the height of rudeness and professionalism, I do not care that you are getting four peoples workload from one person by using technology and AI. I shall never return to Costa again. Your service stinks avoid castle Marina as all they Seemed interested in is their takeaway service and Deliveroo basic politeness courtesy and professionalism to their in-house. Customers seems to be a thing of the past

Orders are always a bit wrong sometimes good but usually something is incorrect. If you want food make sure you get the M&S options

Too busy to get in. Why do we even want coffee in a giant car park. Please put some coffee shops in nice places. The canal side is 400m away.

I've been a loyal Costa customer for years, but my recent visit to this branch was extremely disappointing. The barista who took my order was indifferent at best. When I went to sit down, I had to clear a dirty table myself, despite a Costa employee seeing the mess and making no effort to clean it. To top it off, the bathroom was filthy. This is far below the usual Costa standard, and I won?t be returning to this location.
