Most staff are nice and there's a good selection of food and drinks.
There is a lovely young guy who does his best on shift, good job!
There is a young guy however who is incredibly rude and uses a lot of bad language (bad habit). He should not be working there with his unprofessionalism and rudeness. He even ignored me when I was talking to him!

I ordered a gingerbread hot chocolate with coconut milk accompanied by a delicious almond croissant for this mornings ?corporate breakfast?. As I entered, I saw the long line but as someone who is four months pregnant and hangry I was so ready to wait. I noticed James effortlessly and enthusiastically serving the big rush of morning customers swarm the sandwiches and drinks sections looking ready to order. He quickly, accurately and effectively handled everyone?s orders with ease. For this, I?m not one to give coffee places five stars but the service standalone was on point. Thank you for your hard work James, I?m sure many others like myself will continue to recognise your efforts!

Went midday- very busy - only 3 staff serving- had to clear a table before sitting down. Downstairs toilets not working- only upstairs disabled toilet. Coffee usual standard. Sat in for at least 40 mins - just before leaving someone from the backroom came out to finally start clearing the tables and side window ledgers of all the used trays cups etc.

The standards of this chain have really declined over the past few years, rude young staff, bad customer service, dirty sticky tables, cramped surroundings seem to be the order of the day.
And surprise surprise the coffee isn't that great either.
You better off spending your money with an independent barista you will get a much better deal for your money from people that really care about what they are doing and treat you like a valued customer.
Instead of being served by young staff with no manners and fake smiles.

I simply love Costa. Whenever i go into town or Bulwell, i have to go to Costa.. there's something for e everyone, its cosy.. value for money the cakes are amazing
