“I ordered 3 very robust bespoke timber structures on behalf of a local sports club; small shelters for players and spectators to watch play. This was at a time when timber prices were sky rocketing, so we had one or two false starts getting prices and specs and then pausing for our committee to consider. NSTB were very patient with our deliberations, and were able to honour a quote for longer than they had originally agreed. The buildings had to fit rather precisely on to our layer of blockwork on a concrete foundation. Eventually we put in an order and NSTB constructed, delivered and installed the shelters, to a high standard and in line with our deadlines.
