This place is great. Low prices and friendly service every time I visit. I can't fault the food or the selection and would recommend it to anyone in the area after a quick meal.

We visit most Saturdays to this great cafe on Hucknall pedestrianised area, they even open on Sundays! The staff are the best, so helpful and polite. The food is lovely, great breakfasts and burgers. Highly recommended.
Parking: Large carpark 2 hours free with a ticket only 5 minutes away.

Nice little local cafe.Had the breakfast No.1 £8.50.It's not too bad.Great bacon,not too keen on the cheap sausages, though.Friendly staff.

One of my favourite local sit in cafes for a cooked breakfast, staff friendly, place is very clean , and the food is always red hot (served on a hot plate) good broad selection of food and drinks, just remember to bring cash as they are a cash only restaurant:)Parking: Cafe is situated on the pedestrian only area of the high street with the market car park only a minute walk away, first 2 hours parking is free with ticket

Decent sized portions, good prices, good selection of tasty food. Breakfast menu served all day. The staff is very friendly. The place looks old fashioned, which I would say is a plus. I highly recommend.

Very nice and friendly staff, good quality food. Place is clean and have nice looking interior. Their corfee cames from coffee machine. Proces are fair but you have to have cash as this is cash only place. Cash machine is on the other side where the post office is located.There is a toilet for customers too.I can recommend this to everyone.Please note menu and prices are accurate as on Friday 26/05/2023.

We have been a few times over the years and have been very happy with the food & service. On our last visit a fortnight ago, we ordered 3 meals. Having waited patiently for 40 mins, I politely asked where our food was. We received accusing looks and glares from all the staff. In the absence of any explanation, we could only assume the meals had been taken to the wrong table. The staff were unapologetic and standoffish. We received a very muted & forced 'sorry' from the owner after waiting another 20 mins for our food. It was obvious we hadn't cleared 3 plates & hidden the dirty cutlery & crockery to bag three more free meals. It was obvious we were now starving, as we eagerly polished off our grub in record time. It was clear we hadn't secretly scoffed our meals previously and miraculously hidden the used cutlery & crockery to bag a free second meal. The staff simply ignored us and blindsided our table. We have always been polite and have always tipped generously in the past. But I doubt we will be back. Mistakes happen, but they are so easily rectified.
