Normally come here when can afford a meal out usually nice but this time waiting nearly an hour and when dinner came out steak and jacket potato cold took it back then was overcooked when brought it back,chips was really hard couldn't eat them and the onion rings and mushrooms was cold being brought out to early and so was the garlic bread,i hate complaining but when paying nearly £50 out at least my dog did enjoy the steak so at least a happy dog

Absolutely beautiful steak, onion rings are proper onion rings, big with real batter. Calamari is lovely and staff are amazing ?
Lots on the menu to cater for all.

Had a roast beef carvery today for amazing value the food was absolutely faultless and the girls serving behind the bar and bringing the food were top draw.
Value is very good for the food, and will certainly be back again maybe next time for a steak.
This would have been a 5* had the price for a Pepsi max not been £3.50 for a glass the size of 3/4 of a pint.

Why is a adult with dementia and who struggles to eat a full meal not allowed to have a child's meal.? Even your manager wouldn't help with this I'm disgusted that they had to pay for a portion they wouldn't eat !

The place was very loud and busy, we were seated upstairs, the service wasn't great since the server who was taking our order walked off without saying a word mid order then returned without apologising or making sense of what happened, didn't seem like the staff were managed well and everyone appeared to be rushing around after one another.
The food was typical pub food, hard chips, and the gammon was very salty, eggs had jelly on top and mushrooms were watery. The food was average and the price wasn't too expensive considering. Although my experience this time wasn't promising, with all the credit the place was very busy for a Tuesday night so I can understand the tense atmosphere.
Would visit again regardless, one bad experience isn't enough to judge.

The staff and atmosphere were amazing and the food delicious. My hubby had the fish and chips and I had quiche salad with new potatoes. Followed by Apple pie, and Strawberry sundae. Including drinks the price was £23.60. What is there not to like. This was the 2 for 1 offer.
Overall very satisfied.

We. Went for a steak and it was amazing everything about the food was spot on, I did ask for some mustard the lady said yes sure but unfortunately got side tracked and forgot to bring it no big deal I could have asked again but the food was that enjoyable so I didn't bother

Food was literally moldy after taking an hour to arrive. Got a full refund and will avoid like the plague.
