“Lovely campus! Went to visit a friend at uni there. Bit of a pain that it is quite far away from the city centre though. Lots of options to eat in the student union building which are all reasonably priced for hot food. Accommodation (Halls) is right on campus which makes first year easier. Very pretty when it snows!”

“The greatest asset for McColls store on Broxtowe Lane are the staff. They are all really friendly, helpful & efficient. The company should be really proud of them. A good range of products from newspapers through to groceries that are just what you need. Prices might be a tad high but this more than made up for by the people working there. Plus there is a Post Office which is a magnificent addition. Especially as the nearest bank has recently closed. Again, the PO is brilliantly run singlehandly. Providing a first class service. Queues may seem long at busy times but they move pretty quickly. During the hot summer months the staff suffer from terrible heat conditions because of the glaring sun & no air conditioning. Unsung heroes manning their stations even during the height of the pandemic.”

As that's where most Bus stops are, so to go all the way down to the bank is frustrating as the broadmarch is closed and I dont shop far when pushing a wheelchair as it's down hill.\\nso just to get cash out I use other atms at different Banks,”

“Always go to asda cafe with my little ones, always decent food amazing pizzas, one of the ladies behind the counter specifically the mixed race lady is really lovely always service with a smile always have a good chat really nice, would definitely recommend. Even more so because kids eat all day every day for £1! I have 4 so I can feed them all for £4 and usually there is leftovers for me so it’s a win win”

“Had an issue with the Adblue pumps as they weren’t working.
Staff were very kind and helpful to try and resolve the problem. When the issue couldn’t be fixed with the pumps, the staff kept apologising for an issue that they really couldn’t help. Things happen, it’s completely understandable.
Not just that, the staff even helped me out to try and fill my Adblue another way.”

“The shop is tiny, not much selections for a late night snack, but, it is just a petrol station.I’ve always met the air compressor broken, never would think of this petrol station if I needed air.The entrance to the petrol station is small and it makes you feel a bit nervous of your alloys when entering .Both the entrance and the exit is shared with a bicycle lane. So as you’re coming in & out you have to be careful of both cars, people running and bicycles. ?”
“The staff are alright but 2 Counter services is appalling for a city centre branch. The Line can take Ages sometimes. Needs at least 3 Counter services and a sign pointing to the counter service as a wall is hiding it. Very understaffed unfortunately. Santander only care about profits more than customers! A joke”

“Rating purely for the staff…I was out for a bike ride and my tyre had gone flat. I was in the middle of nowhere and found this service station off a country road (obviously I wasn’t cycling down the M1!!). I went in and asked the staff if they could help me with the air pump and they could not be more keen to help if they tried. Three staff members got involved to try help, one man who knew a lot about bikes tried the air pump (to no avail because I have a shraeder valve), and a lady went to her car and tried two pumps that she had in her boot. We didn’t manage to pump my tyre but they spent nearly an hour with me trying to help which I really appreciated. Safe to say I now carry a pump and inner tube with me !!Thank you guys !!”
