Outstanding Service from Shannon at Asda Strelley
I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Shannon, one of the shop assistants at Asda in Strelley. He went above and beyond during my visit, and his friendly, helpful attitude genuinely made the whole experience better.
Shannon was incredibly approachable and patient. I was having trouble finding a few items, and instead of just pointing me in the right direction, he took the time to walk with me, check stock levels, and even recommended great alternatives when something was unavailable. You could tell he really cared about making sure I left with what I needed.
What stood out most was his positive energy ? he was polite, upbeat, and made a real effort to connect with customers, all while staying professional. You don?t always expect such thoughtful service on a busy day, but Shannon delivered it effortlessly.
Asda is lucky to have him. People like Shannon are the reason customers come back. Thank you again! ?

I recently visited this store, shelves well stocked, tidy and the staff are really nice and polite. If I need of any help nothing is too much for them

I wish I could give it a zero, do not use this petrol station, they take £100 out of your account as a prepayment that they advertise as putting back straight away and only taking the amount you've filled up, it's been over 24 hours and the £100 they took has not been returned and all they can tell me is to wait for potentially 7-10 working days, absolutely ridiculous!
Will never use them again, never had any issues at other places where you pay at the pump.

Security rudely came up to my car and criticised where I had parked (not in a parking space) then continued to ask me questions making sarcastic comments after I?d answered. All while what seemed like the security?s friend or someone he knew and spoke to after confronting me was parked in a disabled bay without a badge and then went on to hold the cars up trying to exit the car park as he stopped in the middle of the road yelling vile abuse at me! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE AS A LONE FEMALE IN THE EVENING/NIGHT! The security ( shown in the picture ) was extremely confrontational and intimidating, this situation and the way it was dealt with made me feel extremely vulnerable and targeted!
Appalling to think someone within the role of security who?s job it is to protect could make you feel so unsafe & unprotected.
I?ve never had a problem here before so it?s a huge shame to be writing this as all the staff on the tills seem so kind and hardworking. The way I?ve been treated tonight by both security and his possible friend will be the reason why sadly this shop will no longer be my trusted local.
Avoid this shop. You will leave feeling seriously targeted, intimidated & utterly disappointed.
I?d also avoid if you are disabled and require the use of the disabled parking bays. Anyone and everyone who clearly don?t have badges or a right to be there selfishly take all those up & security are too busy confronting and intimidating people who aren?t in any parking spaces instead of focusing on those selfish individuals taking up the disabled bays and blocking the exit to shout abuse at other customers. Stay clear from this place.

Got ID?d for a lemsip, didn?t have it on me since I?d been at work all day. Was checking out with literally only a pizza, cough sweets and a lemsip. Think it?s pretty obvious I don?t intend anything bad by it. I?m 24 so can understand checking for alcohol, but when I?m covered in tattoos (including my birth year of 2000), with my girlfriend who is 26 and holding car keys, it?s obvious I?m not under 16. Clearly must not be to some. It?s a shame I have to rate this Asda 1 star as the staff usually on self checkout are nothing but helpful and nice to me.

I'm disabled and have a hoist for my car. Never seem to be able to get a disabled parking bay. Never seen any body checking that all cars that are parked there , display a blue bade since the first day it opened. Other customers are so inconsiderate when it comes to parking even in the child allocation spots. What's the point of having a poster informing drives of the £70 fine if nobody is the to check. Whilst there being to security men at the entrance neither would come out to see. What a let down for this i was my local shop. Now go to others , who at least have someone checking. It's no joke being disabled

This ASDA is awful
The cafe is dirty and the young girls serving are pig ignorant and handle the food, poor hygiene standards observed The girl brought our food to the table and all she could manage was a grunt !
Cold fries and greasy breakfast
Customers arguing at the self checkout opposite the open plan cafe
Give it a miss
Only a 1 because zero not an option

I had a very pleasant experience at the card only till where Liam ,a young employee was supervising and helping promptly anything l needed.
ASDa could reward him the amazing help he gives and the reassuring smile on his face.
What else did l need?
I got his name telling him l will leave a good review for him.
Also there is Jeanette, the ASDA employee in wheelchair, so helpful every time when you need help.
I didn't see her yesterday, l hope she is alright.
