Staff discriminate against silent disabilities! ? Went in with my disabled 65 year old mum 3 days before Christmas, obviously expect it to be busy so no issue with that. Had small trolly of £45 worth of groceries (mum can?t carry baskets with her deformed hands!). Told by staff to use self checkout machine. Few minutes later tills became busier. Staff started venting elevated stress levels on customers. We were told off as if we were little school children! Told we shouldn?t be in self-checkout with trolly shop when there are big queues forming. I said, firstly the queues were not big when we joined the checkout and secondly we were told by your colleague to use the self-checkout in the first place! Staff woman rolled her eyes at us and stormed off. Came back a few minutes later to assist with machine error, proceeded with aggression ?I?ll check the rest out for you because we have big queues now and you shouldn?t be here so need to hurry up!? She started snatching items out from our hands, I told her ?calm down, there is no need to throw things, I can do it!? She gave me the look of death and said ?well don?t call me over the next time you need assistance with the machine then? She walked off in a childish strop. A few minutes later the machine needed assistance again, so she came over, completely dismissed engaging with us verbally whatsoever, dealt h with the machine error and stomped off.
1) Not exactly the festive Christmas spirit you are expecting from retailer workers
2) If you can?t handle the stress off the job, don?t work in a supermarket during peak dates, take annual leave or swap your shifts
3) Be helpful not rude, arrogant and aggressive towards customers going about their business
4) Do not discriminate against people with silent disabilities. Just because my mum is not in a wheelchair doesn?t mean she can race around the store and tills like you get paid to do or that she is cognitively able to process things at lightening speed! ?
5) Grow up love! Stop acting like a mardy school girl well into your 30s

It's a great store with greats value and bargains, like all Aldis.
Only reason for 4 stars is the usual lack of space after paying and long waiting at tills, again like all Aldis

I absolutely love Aldi. The price is good and the products are better than Tescos. I always buy spring rolls in Aldi and they are much more delicious than tesco.
