I have just driven to Tuxford to have my COVID and flu jab only to be told the COVID jab is out of stock. That is a 20 mile round trip wasted. The chemist said they did not have my phone number in order to let me know. I remember that I gave my e mail and mobile phone number to the NHS when booking my appointment.I specifically booked this chemist as they were able to offer a half term appointment at a time that suited me.I consider this very poor service indeed by both Tuxford Pharmacy and the NHS. I will not be rebooking with Tuxford Pharmacy.Grrrrr.

We have recently moved to the GP practice, my husband is on regular medication. We lived out the area so my husband Meds was delivered regularly by post, he order on line they would arrive, when he moved to this pharmacy no one told him the procedure, so he was left several days with no meds, when I went to the pharmacy they was rude and talked down to me.ive been this morning and been snapped at again that is why I'm writing this, if I'd spoken to them in that way I'd be reported and taken off the surgery practice. Some training wouldn't go a miss in customer care.

The women in this pharmacy are so rude and incapable of doing their job. They are so disorganised with their work it?s a joke. One in particular is downright spiteful. I have regular prescriptions and they usually have to order it in so I get part prescriptions often too. I was in this week and my prescription had been sent the night before and when I went in, it as usual wasn?t ready. The woman said very rudely ?we?ve had thousands of prescriptions since last night? (I highly doubt they had) and she then said ?have you got any to last you until tomorrow morning? (basically trying to fob me off as she didn?t want to look for it or deal with it) I told her i hadn?t so she said I?d have to go back. I went back and as soon as I walked in she spitefully said ?that?s that Janine? to her colleague who was also just as rude and had a can?t be bothered attitude. They are open very limited times also which in this day and age isn?t suitable for such a big place like Tuxford. Would definitely not recommend, I?d rather travel to pick up my prescription. You don?t get any sort of welcome or acknowledgment when you walk in, you?re kept waiting for ages even though there are usually 4 women in. Between all 4 of them they are absolutely useless!

I have a couple of conditions that require medication and on more than one occasion they either claimed not to have had meds ordered by Tuxford Medical Centre when they had been or messed up on my prescription. Due to this I stopped using them and now go to Boots instead. Now, a few years later, they are messing up on one of my kid's meds. Just not good enough. Terrible because they just take an it's not my fault attitude. I expect better than this when a pharmacist can cause serious injury when failing to be exacting. Lucky in these cases no harm was done, but I will never use them again. Never.

Very popular with the locals. Friendly yet professional with good advice on minor ailments and very helpful with suitability of medicines and health care. Good management and intelligent, empathic and kindly staff.
