Nice spoons, plenty of seating, short wait at the bar, decent cheap food if you get hungry. One of the go to pubs if on a night out, or meeting place for a few.Unfortunately they shut this branch on the Sunday after my last visit. Newark now has no Spoon's! That's pan crack day ruined for many!

Used this Wetherspoons whenever I visit Newark-on-Trent. Obviously, my business was not enough as it has now closed. Sad, as I've always considered this one of the better pubs. Excellent mixed grill Tuesday and had the curry Thursday which did the job perfectly. Just one point for the Wetherspoons family as someone who is lactose intolerant. Maybe at least a choice of one vegan dessert should be made available?? ?♂️
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. This pub has step-free access.
