Slow and rude staff. Waited 30 minutes for help with glasses after notifying staff and no help. Previously asked for copies of prescription and was refused by staff. Waited a month and requested again, again staff were awkward and rude.

Went into the Newark branch after work to get my current glasses repaired and couldn't of asked for better customer service. Maisie, who was very friendly, tightened, adjusted, and cleaned my glasses for me. She also gave my sunglasses a look over ahead of my holiday which was greatly appreciated.

First and last time using the Newark branch. The day of my appointment was OK, shop floor staff were borderline rude but the optician was lovely. When I went to collect my glasses they did no adjustments and when I said they didn't feel right and it was shaky in one eye I got told it's because I'm not use to wearing glasses.... I entered the store wearing my current glasses. The lady said to come back in a few weeks if they still didn't seem right.
I had awful headaches over the next few days so contacted specsavers online, a lady from the Newark store did call me, I unfortunately missed the call, she left a message saying she would call back the following Thursday, I haven't heard anything since.

Normally my visits to Specsavers are 5 star but the person fitting the new glasses, seemed very disinterested. I mentioned the glasses/frames were really stiff, they said they would ease. One pair hadn't come in either and was told to ring 4 days later.That night the arm broke on the frame.
I went back and a very good member of staff fixed everything and was very attentive. Enjoying my prescription sunglasses in the picture.
