Awful bank, awful stroppy staff, elderly man who works there beyond useless, actually a joke. Only saving grace is the young small dark haired girl who rectified my issues and was very knowledgeable and attentive.

Seen to have conveniently set the opening times so that people who actually have a job can?t go to the bank. I?d imagine this is so that they can say there is no demand for the physical bank and close it for online services.

wanted to leave a review because I thought Becky who served me today was really polite, friendly and professional and deserves feedback. Luckily it wasn?t busy when I went in today but in the past I?ve had to wait ages to be seen. But today I was really impressed by the quality of service I received. Thank you Becky @ NatWest for making my day a bit brighter!!

Stood waiting at a barrier for at least 15 minutes outside with no staff info elation provided whatsoever. It is obvious NatWest are using this crisis as an excuse to reduce their already appalling levels of customer service to new lows

Had a mortgage appointment with Marie, she was very helpful, informative and friendly. Bad reviews probably reflect people having to queue an extra 5 mins on a saturday morning, when everybody else tries to get to the bank.

appalling service - agree bank is run for the benefit of staff not customers -its like DIY and staff are not knowledgeable or helpful to those of us running an account under Court of Protection when online banking not used for it - very unwelcoming - the system is making it very difficult for anyone operating an account under POA or Court - don't even give an envelope anymore to hold the cash!

Terrible bank - will move to another. Since the new machines were installed, they go wrong constantly. Very few staff available to help. You end up having to then go to the desk (double queuing!) and they can't print receipts for credits! Infuriating as machines go wrong every time I use them!! Not what you need from banking services...

Feels like it's being run for the benefit of the staff not the customers, always have to queue for at least 15 minutes because they only have one counter open "to improve customer services". Joke.

Sadly not a minus score available, otherwise I would have selected it.
Won't bore you with entire saga, but Natwest Newark information 2 yrs ago was that they did not offer trust accounts!!! Probate for my dad took ages and solicitor will not release mums money unless to a trust account. My joint trustee and I have made 8+ visits to branch and still paperwork not processed??? This journey started June 2017!!! A year after my dad died they said they could open a trust as mum had been a NatWest customer for 70 of her 90 yrs of age?? They have not helped at all just made problem after problem. The help lines don't know what to advise and internal numbers for branch help don't exist not recognized Really really poor

After 6 weeks, three trips to the bank and one incorrectly closed account later, I'm still no closer to opening a joint rewards account.
Being told:
1. It's our fault becuase it would of been faster had my wife not taken my name.
2. That we failed to show our certificate at the branch, despite the lady taking it off us and handing it straight back saying she didn't need it. Then on the phone claiming we didn't have it with us (rewind your cctv, watch us hand you the paper. It's fine, I'll wait...)
...Is hugely unprofessional.
I would never complain for a slow queue or an honest misunderstanding, I appreciate a bank is a hard working environment with a lot of important details to get right. But this place has massively embarrassed itself, and damaged my opinion of the wider brand.
