Out of all the large UK supermarkets, I think Morrisons is the best.I think their market street is great. They have a large selection of pizza, a salad bar, the bakery is excellent, and so are the butchers. This particular Morrisons in Newark is very good and has a large market street selection, which includes the usual fresh pizza's, bakery, salad bar, butchers and cake sections but it also has a large cheese counter and fish counter.Morrisons is also very well stocked with other food products, clothes, and other household items.

The customer toilets need to be upgraded or repaired as they are in a bit of a state and down a confusing corridor. The quality of the food and service is second to none a bit on the expensive side apart from some items.

I did pop in here as they stock lemon meringue mix, so I alway buy a few of them. I didn't do a weeks shopping, though. Like most people, I shop around now as things have got expensive.

Good parking facilities. Nice clean store, which caters for most things. Staff helpful and knowledgeable.

We ordered an Ultimate Breakfast for 2 people. When it eventually arrived mine was tepid and lacked the tomato and black pudding. The waitress snapped "well that's not my fault" and walked away. So that was it, no one ever returned with the missing ingredients. So we both said we would never go there again.

Morrisons cafe in Newark usually is a great place to eat , it?s usually cheap and cheerful but honestly today was the worst experience I?ve had in any cafe , diner or restaurant. Firstly me my girlfriend and 2children walked in to the cafe to Order food. I waited in the queue for adleast 30 minutes to get served and when I finally got served the woman who served me was the manager , I Asked for my food and she had to call in one of The kitchen staff who was between I would say 18-20 and she was shouting at the top of her lungs ?Abbie? and she had to keep coming and sorting the till, I was sat in the cafe waiting for my food for 1 hour & 10 minutes. My son was getting very irritant as he has autism and is non verbal so his behaviour can be challenging and he shouldn?t have to wait that long neither should anyone else. So I approached the manager and asked how long food would be as it had been over an hour and her reply with a queue full of people was very aggressive & unfriendly calling me a liar about the time I waited for which is very unprofessional. Finally my food came and it was cold and not very nice, I ordered extra toast for my girlfriend and it never came, so I asked the manager a further time about the toast I ordered and she replied with it?s a 30 minute wait & not once did she apologise for any inconvenience coursed. There were people next to us who had waiting nearly as long as us and didn?t receive there?s. Very unprofessional and awful experience, The manager wants to learn how to manage these situations as it?s not on. Overall below is what the so called manager needs to work on or if you don?t like or can?t cope with your job or position then get another job. -Customer service training -People skills training -The customer is always right -attitude -management skills FYI- The image shown is how runny my sons scrambled eggs was not very good at all

Went for breakfast, after a 30 minute wait we got our breakfast but wasnt until husband said nice runny egg that I realised mine was missing. Went to kitchen and egg was received. Whilst we were waiting however a couple close by got up and helped themselves to 3 bottles of water from the display cabinet without paying, mentioned to a member of staff but nothing said or done, others helped themselves to the coffee machine all without paying. Nobody manning the till, customers waiting 10 to 15 minutes before someone came, no tables being cleared, customers clearing and cleaning their own. Lost count how many customers that came in, seen no clean tables and turned around and choose to leave. Come on Morrisons get this sorted because the food we had, once received, was absolutely spot on. Clear tables, man the tills as automatic ordering is losing you a lot of money. Help the staff you have by employing just 2 or 3 more. Your losing money, custom and times are hard enough for businesses, but you are losing a lot by the set up you have Whilst people are helping themselves to free refills from drinks machine and your crisp, cake and drinks counter whilst unmanned. Get in touch as I think you need a good hardworking Manager that can turn this around to make your customers happy and to change the moral off your staff to feel happy and confident to run your cafe. Come on together we can make it work. Also, after most customer once eaten and drank, went to toilets and they had mot been checked since day before, no ticks or signatures on paperwork on the doors in the ladies, 2 out of 3 toilets with no toilet paper! Again, get in touch I love a challenge.

Called in here today for a coffee with my husband, wish I hadn't of bothered, the coffee machine was giving out half a cupful so I pressed it again to fill the cup, tables were piled high with uneaten food and dirty crockery there was one girl serving in the till, she was expected to clear tables as well,we managed to find a clear table and drank our coffee,it was awful it tasted bitter a waste of money,I didn't drink it,another customer had remarked to her husband she was told by the girl on the till to press the coffee machine button twice as it was only filling half a cup,I told her it was bitter and undrinkable. This used to be a nice cafe but not anymore.

One of the better Morrisons store though at first glance parking can be a little confusing because the entrance to the car park looks more like you're entering the loading area. Also some GPS devices lead to a limited d access street rather than the actual parking area. Otherwise the store is easy to navigate with a good selection of products. Especially if you are like me and require a gluten free diet. They have one of the widest ranges and best quality gluten free products in the area.

Absolutely awful supermarket. It's more expensive than Waitrose and I find Morrisons own food is extremely poor quality. They're always sold out of most things, bread on the shelves with only 1 day for it to be in date. Really poor choice of foods as well.. ok if you just like eating meat and two veg. I cannot believe the price of the food in Morrisons it's crazy. The layout of the shop is stressful, staff always seem stressed.

Morrison always been helpful as they have range of good to sell including fresh bakery product and flower. This shop is on first floor level and ground level is used as car parking spaces. There are two ways to go in and one way out.Wheelchair access available.Good floor markings and signage.Parking spaces available most of the times.. Lunch time is usually busy due to lots of people coming just for lunch sandwiches etc.

Morrisons used to be a lovely, cheap, no frills but clean & friendly place to stop off for lunch when shopping. Hadn't been in for a long while, won't be going again! The self service screen is at the entrance so people queuing to use this blocks both the café entrance & the store corridor. People waiting to be served with sandwiches/drinks on the shelf were also queuing, waiting for someone to serve. Most of the unoccupied tables were dirty & full of used plates/cups etc. When we sat down at a clear table it was sticky & not properly cleaned. The mugs only filled half full of coffee & were not very hot. There was confusion over food brought out for the table numbers & the young waiter was, on several occasions, unable to locate the table number to deliver the food. Several customers who had been behind me in the order que were served before us. When the food arrived it was very nice but only just warm, 2 breakfasts, kids mac n cheese & chicken nuggets & chips. We had to wait ages to find a staff member to get some forks as there were none in the cutlery section. Overall it was a very poor experience that we will not be repeating. On a positive note the ceiling had very nice art work!

A supermarket that sells an array of products and produce. Free parking, great range and scope of items. Clean, items are competitively priced. Helpful staff. As far as supermarket shopping goes, ticks boxes.

The people are really friendly and helpful. I don't like the self serve tills and the car park needs keeping an eye on because some people are parking in the disabled parking and they don't have a Blue badge

Cafe is good for prices. But hardly any staff around and feel like the whole building just needs a total revamp. The parking lot downstairs doesn't feel safe. Leaks a lot and a lot of cracks.
