We have used Martin Wilkinson for a while now and found them to be excellent and competitively priced. All the people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable and take a pride in what they do. They have carried out a number of jobs for us such as watch battery replacement, new straps (even sourcing a vegan strap) and enlarging a ring.
If you need anything in the jewellery line then definitely start here.

I have been looking for a pendant to match some earrings for 4 years and found one in Rose Gold and Silver but wanted gold, they were very helpful and friendly and ordered me a pendant and it came in the post today as not from Newark, and I am so happy with it. Would highly recommend Martin Wilkinson Jewellers.

Bought 5 items from this jewellers on 19/08. Four of them were excellent quality however one item, a bracelet, had a very poor clasp as well as being too long (bought as a gift). We went in hoping to exchange the bracelet for a shorter one with a working clasp or have the bracelet shortened. They informed us that they couldn?t shorten the item in house due to the design of the item which we completely understood and that they didn?t have a shorter bracelet in stock. Obviously this on its own is not an issue however when we asked if we could refund the bracelet we were told that they only offer store credit. This was not explained to me before purchase, there is a small sign high up in the corner of a store explaining this policy however it is in a faded gold marker pen and very small writing making it difficult to read, I hadn?t seen it when originally purchasing. The man who served us informed us the policy is also on the receipt (not much good seeing as you?ve already paid at that point). If it is store policy to not offer any refunds then this should be clearly stated.

The nicest company ever to deal with. Professional, knowledge and kind. Special thanks to Mark Jonathan and Alice for being so lovely and very patient! I had a lone stone sitting in a draw for at least 30 years and thanks to Jonathan's design skills and an expert goldsmith, they created the most beautiful ring. My only regret is that I have no excuse to go in and see them again! A BIG THANK YOU.

Stumbled across this website when googling Amethyst jewellery for my Aunt?s 90th birthday present. Chose a bracelet & earrings and they were delivered within 3 days. Beautifully packaged & absolutely stunning, the bracelet & earrings are gorgeous. Great quality for very competitive prices. An absolute delight to have shopped at this jewellers this afternoon to purchase my wife an eternity ring for our 50th wedding anniversary.The choice of rings available was excellent and my wife ended up purchasing the ring she really wanted without any pressure at all from the staff. In fact all the staff were extremely patient and helpful in explaining fittings etc.In this day and age to receive such professional personal service was a delight.Thank you

Bought a beautiful pair or emerald earrings for my partner's birthday and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or accomdating. Very unhelpful, bought a locket with a silver chain whilst visiting Newark last year, broke the same day - took back the next day and I wanted to exchange (and pay the difference) for a longer, heavier chain so that it wouldn't break, was told they were unable to exchange and I would need to wait for the old chain to be mended (was leaving Newark the next day). I ended up buying a new chain and bringing back the broken chain!! Very expensive locket.
