Had the unfortunate pleasure of being served by mark, in his 30s40s..I asked if I could pay by cash and card, as this has never been a problem at home bargains before, he told me he couldn?t give me any change, I wanted to pay £15 in cash but only had £20 note, he told me I couldn?t do that, so I said ?well I?ve done it before here? he insisted on telling me I couldn?t do it, and kept telling me? he nos he is right!!? I told him again It had never been a problem before and his attitude was soooo rude I told him I was going to complain?. His reply was? that?s fine because I no I?m right!!!! He took my £20 and the rest on card, and said.. told u I can?t give u no change! He is definitely in the wrong job for his personality, I left the shop fuming, I needed the £5 cash that?s why I asked if I could pay £15 not £20 cash and the rest on card, he definitely needs to learn a bit of customer care, and if he?s not sure how to do a transaction then ask for help! He definitely came across as a 1st class prick!!!!

Visited the store late Sunday afternoon 30/07/23. I was served by Tom S at the checkout. What a charming young man, he was cheerful, interactive and although I?m sure at the end of his shift, he was charming. It makes such a difference to the shopping experience. Well done Tom S you are a credit to HB
