Feeling peckish is a diamond amongst the dining venues of the area we had a table of 11 in the newly opened dining room upstairs, the food was amazing, plates hot, service perfect, don't walk past , we highly recommend feeling peckish . The cake and dessert options are just impossible to miss.

Excellent, but would have been nice if there was red or green top milk.
Thank you for the reply I did ask and they said they had not got any ,I love a latte but if I had blue top I would have been poorly all day so just went for tea instead and a splash of milk xxx

Brilliant cooked breakfast, friendly staff that went above and beyond. Whilst in Feeling Peckish, we witnessed the staff help an elderly lady call a clinic to see if her husband had left yet. Fantastic and an asset to the local area!

Cuppa and cake stop. Well liked local restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were there just before lunchtime and got very busy, so obviously highly rated by locals.

Called for light lunch on a Wednesday. Warm welcome. A good light bite menu and homemade cakes on offer - lemon roulade to die for!!!? Good value for money.

Turned up and requested an extra chair outside, the customer service was not polite, when i asked if i could take a chair from inside outside the answer was NO, to be fair they where busy, but good manners cost nothing, if they had said, sorry we dont allow the inside chairs to be taken outside , sorry. So 1 member of our group stood up. We could not try the food as the wait was over 30min. Not sure if they are not cycling freindly, plenty of other good cafes in the area.

Popped in for a meal and had to go upstairs because they were very busy the waitress who looked after us was lovely and chatty we had the special and it was delicious the waitress definitely deserved a medal going up and down the stairs for everyones food so me and the wife would just like to thank the staff for our meal

Fantastic breakfasts on offer. Our first time in Newark and I think we struck gold with our pick for food. My partner had the standard breakfast and I got the vegetarian breakfast. Perfect portion with friendly staff to boot. If we ever come back to Newark we'll be sure to drop in. Not far from Castle Station.
