I?ve used this pharmacy three times now. Once for my flu jab (which was painless; great as I?m terrified of needles) and twice for advice. The pharmacist is great: she listens, asks a few questions then gives advice on medication and other general actions to resolve your condition. From today this will be my go to pharmacy in Newark. It?s such a valuable resource given the tortuous new online triage system (which is often down) introduced by my doctors? practice

I truly don't know what we would do without this Pharmacy , both this branch and the one at Kirkgate. While our GP's are usually dismissive and uncaring , the pharmacists at Evans are what one would expect a doctor to be. Nowadays when I call the Gp surgery I hope to be referred to the Evan's next door . Thank you for taking so good care of our community !

Having been with another pharmacy for over twenty years and recently kept being told prescription was missing certain items on a regular basis. I moved to Barnbygate for my regular monthly prescription and have found that not only are they efficient, the pharmacist and his staff are very pleasant, helpful and are a credit to the pharmacy.

My daughter went to Evans Pharmacy with a skin issue and the pharmacist correctly diagnosed and treated it. His name is Ken and he is excellent. Very professional and reassuring.Just to add? our GP got it wrong by comparison!5/5

Required an urgent repeat prescription for an unexpected trip abroad. Four hours from GP to ready to collect from Evans Pharmacy, the staff were brilliant and kept in contact with me throughout.Thank you and we'll done.

Smaller local pharmacy, helpful staff, have great care for all customers. Pharmacist very helpful, they have a consulting room for privacy. Look out for bargains on the reduced shelf.

Normally I have a good experience however after the pharmacy informed my partner that they didn't have the prescription the Dr had advised was sent to them I went to double check for further information. I was met with the most confrontational and argumentative woman who's idea of customer service was to cut me off mid query, multiple times with an agressive NO then walked away again as I was in the middle of asking further. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a customer! Will not be using this store until they learn to teach certain members of staff what civility is.
