Went in with a specific accessibility request about TVs and was initially approached by a woman who asked if we needed any help. I told her my needs and rather than try to find someone who knew what they were talking about she googled the issue and then told me about subtitles like they were a new invention. I had a fairly good understanding of my options but wanted to be certain that I was making the right choice. Despite clearly knowing nothing about the technology (using dual audio output with hearing aids) she repeatedly tried to tell me things which I then had to correct as I had already done my research. Eventually she put a call out for help and someone who actually knew what they were talking about came over. I didn't feel entirely confident so went away and did some more research with what the second person had said and decided on a TV which wasn't in stock at my local Currys but was at one further away. Before we made the trip I wanted to be sure so we visited again to look at the one on display and were approached by another member of staff who was lovely but barely had the chance to say hello before the woman was back to tell him he was stealing her commission/sale. I cannot imagine someone I would rather give a sale to less to be honest. She insisted on helping us look at the TV but again didn't actually know what she was doing and made things more complicated not less. We went with a Samsung frame tv and it connects to my Bluetooth hearing aids while allowing others to listen using the speakers as well which is great and we got it from the Grantham store instead.

Today I visited the Newark branch , we picked up a toaster and wanted some ear buds and an upgrade on my mobile phone, no one in the store offered to help as they were standing in a group of 8 people chatting, we payed for the toaster and left, I will think twice before visiting again.

Rasma who helped us at the curry's store was extremely helpful, she answered any questions that we had about the different tv's we were looking at, she was very friendly and we didn't feel pressured to buy anything which was a nice change, it felt like the decision was completely ours. With her great knowledge we picked out the perfect tv for us and we are very happy with what we chose. Rasma was truly professional and trustworthy and I know that if we want to buy something else from curry's in the future we would be extremely happy to have her help and guidance again!

Sales staff were very friendly. Gave good advice. But the technology was a bit subpar as it had a long loading time and appeared difficult to navigate. But I will be returning as the product I was looking for was not in stock but the upgrade model will be soon.

We went to buy a fridge a washing machine and a dishwasher today and the staff could not have been more helpful and approachable especially Lisa she handled all of our needs and did everything she could to provide a quality service. Highly recommended
