This is a old fashioned community pub. I was a complete stranger but everyone who entered the pub acknowledge and spoke to me. At t one time they invited me to join them. On the Sunday they served up a joist of roast dinners for a really good price. The point is it was cooked fresh and on the premises. It was served up and the veg was separate from the main and sauces were also served separate. Even the children's portions. Great community atmosphere and prices especially good. I can not emphasize enough the great community atmosphere. Well done!!

It was very busy but did have outside space for smokers. Shame they didn't serve tea or coffee

no sunday lunch, over heard manger/landlord ask a child say to put an ashtray down while sat outside, child responded and smashed it so the whole family was barred, supposed to ge highly rated for sunday lunch and functions dirty tables and dog hairs all in carpets
