“Weldon were really supportive to my step dad. Although he acknowledged he needed a carer he wasn’t ready to actually accept one in his house.Until Weldon took over his carers had literally gone in and said hello and he’d send them back out on their way. However, Weldon broke down these barriers and he built up a good rapport with his care team and had them supporting him in his home. Sadly he’s now passed away but I know Weldon and his carer, Jim, gave him an interest in conversation and joy in his last months. For that I will always be thankful.”
