Was really looking forward to afternoon tea at this place I'd heard good things about it. On this occasion I was sadly disappointed. Afternoon tea to me is a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, we were asked to choose 1 filling for one big sandwich. Although very tasty it was thick sliced bread and just too much. We were also only offered one cake choice, it would have been nicer to have smaller pieces of different cakes, and unfortunately my funfetti cake had been heavily laced with sugar syrup rendering it too sweet to eat. The homemade coleslaw that came with the sandwiches was delicious though , I just think it didn't measure up for me and my friend .

Can't review the food as left without but sure it is good.
When googled if dog friendly stated yes so went ahead and booked sells dog ice cream and had dog biscuits on counter however the only dog friendly space is a worn out sofa and chair outside toilet and not in main room but in entry corridor which doubled up as storage. Could sit outside but tables and benches old and warped and not fit for disabled customers.One member of staff did provide an additional chair for disabled customer. In the end left as unable to provide dietary requirements and felt awful sat in corridor recieved full refund.

Visited twice whilst staying at Clumber camp site. The breakfast was delicious, and the afternoon tea was amazing, fresh quality food and such good value for money in a delightful setting. Highly recommend, we can't wait to go back!

Great place for good food. Its recently had a make over looks great (,inside) hope they clean and tidy the outside porch spoils the good work done in the cafe could put people off if not been in before..

Found this by chance, friendly staff small choice of menue. Small dining room, toilet. Seating outside. Small car park few pot holes. Would recommend to others.

Great coffee, shame not dog friendly inside so had to sit outside which meant having to use single use cups, trays and plastic cutlery for sit down meal outside (there are plenty of compostable companies out there Vegware etc) found this to be a let down.
Random but two of us had jacket potato cheese and beans and the jackets were massive! Could have done with a some more cheese and beans.
Prices ok, hard to say these days as everywhere is expensive.
