We stopped off half way through a long journey and were surprised to find the restaurant virtually empty.
We received an extremely friendly and efficient welcome.
The food was local, home made and delicious... the best pies we have had in a long while.
This pub deserves to be much more busy.

Lovely venue. Good ale and we had lovely company. The food was generally good but one of our party was very disappointed with her Caesar salad. I think she thought it was lacking in chicken. We come here quite frequently, the food is always delicious especially the pie. Staff very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
