After reading some of the reviews I?m pretty shocked because I?ve never had a bad experience in the Mansfield Woodhouse Subway. I go every Friday afternoon for tea, spend upwards of £30 and it?s the subway I always go back to.
The staff are friendly, Emily has always greeted me with a warm smile, polite and is clearly very efficient at her job remembering most of my order despite only going one per week. Georgio although not working all the Fridays is just as pleasant, and both always appear to do their best.
Having worked in the industry in the past, customers can be difficult. The Just Eat drivers are often rude and expect to collect as soon as they walk in regardless of who is stood in line. I still see customers walking to the wrong side of the queue and wondering why they aren?t getting served. It?s not easy and with orders piling up it can be stressful.
If I were the business owner I?d be very proud to have a team that includes the likes of Emily and Georgio. The only development advice I?d give is to be a little firmer with customers if they are causing disruption or not following Subway etiquette. This is normal , and as long as it?s done politely they should have no issue. It can be hard especially for students to have this confidence but you will need it no matter what career you choose to follow in life as people will always be people.

Visited this place today my partner stood in line to be served
After waiting his turn the assistant decided to bypass him and serve the young lady behind despite the young lady telling her it was my partner before her she carried on
After serving her she told my partner he would have to go to the back of the queue and wait again
He left the store and we went to bill inn
and had a very nice sandwich and drink.
Very rude staff and subway has gone down hill won?t visit again
While he was waiting a uber driver was trying to collect a order which nobody seemed to know about very unpleasant experience

We ordered our food and it never came but says it got delivered and we can?t even get in touch as the number doesn?t even work.

I waited in the shop, all other people who came after me were served first. They were just ignoring me. What can l expect l was the only black person there but it didn?t feel right, l left the shop without ordering because l got frustrated

Staff on today are RUDE . Waited in a queue, completely ignored...when his mates walked in he served them before me. When I pointed out I had been waiting they all burst out laughing. Childish , incompetent. We went elsewhere & won't go there again .

Subway Mansfield, Woodhouse Road Friday 545pm , don?t normally leave many reviews but just wanted to say how nice and polite the 2 young lads were that served us tonight, our sandwiches were great and the place was nice and clean, well done guys ??
