Poor, lazy and unhelpful staff, awful experience!
Upgraded to new iPhone 16 pro max (costing over £1k) and committed to 3 year contract.
Had to upgrade online as previous visit they were ?too busy? but had phone sent to shop as they told me they could do data transfer when it arrived especially if I picked it up on a weekday between 9 and 10am.
I phoned store on Thursday to let them know I?d be in on Friday morning to colllect and get data transfer done. When I arrived first thing Friday morning I was told they don?t do data transfers Friday or Saturdays even tho they only had one customer and four members of staff.
I get told it?s easy to do a transfer and I?d have to do it myself.
When I get home to try to set up phone I discover iPhones now have a completely different cable and don?t come with a plug so I have no way of charging it to be able to turn it on !
I specifically showed the sales assistant I was upgrading and transferring data from a 9 year old iPhone8 but no mention that new iPhones have different cables and plugs. Great SALES assistant I would have bought a plug if he could have been bothered to mention it !
When I phoned the store to say I wasn?t really happy as I was told they would set phone up and do data transfer and I couldn?t even turn phone on cos no one bothered to tell me it had different cable and didn?t come with a plug, I was just told none of that was ?their job? !
Wow how helpful great work ??
The next time I spend thousands on a phone and a contract I?ll give my money to someone other than O2 and I will definitely never enter this store again !

I had an issue with my sim card and had to go into branch to get it sorted. All the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. I was assisted by Georgia who was really helpful and efficient. She swiftly handled my issue, answered my questions and gave advice based of what I'd asked. Really good experience ?. Thank you O2 in Mansfield. Please pass on my regards to the team. Simon.

Really disappointing experience. Went to upgrade There has been issues with shortages and was one phone left in stock. Had been waiting a while and was in the middle of sorting the upgrade and at the point of sale. A male staff member then seated some customers to the back of me and despite them just arriving instantly gave them the phone that was being put through for myself. He was challenged on this directly by the lady serving me as had been first and he was indifferent. A clear case of one upmanship so he could secure the sale.

Brilliant experience. Julie was polite, respectful knowledgeable and very experienced from the beginning. She simultaneously dealt with transfer of 3 existing phones to new ones and explaining what for, how and why it was being done, step by step. Made a dreaded Job look so easy.

Not a great experience. Have lost my phone. Am sat with the store manager with my driver's license as photo id. Directed to store by 02 customer services line as fastest way of getting new SIM . Was required to answer some security questions (why when I have ID?) apparently got a detail wrong and the computer locked the enquiry out tomorrow. Enquired what do I need to leave or PUK codes. Manager turned her back on me and walked away uninterested. Absolutely outrageous. Glad we don't treat our customers like that.

Went in on Sunday to discuss an issue with my mothers phone and tarrif. Was told it would be looked into and we would be contacted on Tuesday. No contact has been made and since Tuesday I have rang the store 47 times and the phone has not been answered once...
