The food was absolutely fine. Lovely decor, nice people. However, very disappointed with being prompted to pay a service charge at the bar.
A living wage is paid by law, tips are optional and putting people on the spot, in a public space is not acceptable. Especially when they have already left their tip on their table. We paid a further £7 on top of the bill as well as the tip we left, out of embarrassment. For that reason, and that reason alone, we will not return.

A very clean place, the food was very delicious, we ordered a variety of very tasty seasoned seafood, the service was very attentive and friendly, we will return if we pass through Mansfield again.

Best Indian in mansfield! The mangrove was suggested to me by a friend and now I won't go anywhere else. The curries are always really nice and the onion bhaji are amazing and come with the best sauce! The staff are always lovely and friendly whenever I go whether that's to pick up takeaway or eat in the restaurant. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Ordered a takeaway and the delivery time was acceptable with a polite driver.
I ordered a few items; mixed kebab starter, lamb lal maas, tarka daal.
The gravy with the lal maas was thin, a lot thinner than main courses I have had from many places over many years. It had a layer of grease/oil when plated up that was really unappealing. The lamb itself was tender though lacking in flavour however , the gravy ruined it. There could have been more flavour and although ordered medium heat it felt more on the milder side. The pickle that I ordered was spicier than the gravy in the main course.
The cheese and garlic naan was luke warm and lacking in flavour, I like a lot of garlic and I suppose I could have added that to the order instructions.
The tarka daal's lentils were a little too al dente for my liking and a touch too bland.
Unfortunately half of the main course was wasted as was the daal.

Il never order from this place again!
Ordered 2 currys which had no flavour or anything in at all, it was just unseasoned meat in a watery soup which had NO seasonings either and even suffering from salt and pepper withdrawals. None of these was in our food.

Coriander powder
Turmeric
Red chilli powder
Salt
Fresh coriander
??
Rather have a tin of chicken soup ?

Our favorite indian in Mansfield we eat/have takeaway from here at least once a month. They do the best pashwari naan in Mansfield. Curries are really flavoursome and jalfrazi has a good kick.
Parking: Only 3 car street spaces outside restaurant. Use swan pub car park if wanting more spaces
Kid-friendliness: Friendly and accommodating
Wheelchair accessibility: I have attended with disabled people and they are accommodating, wide doors and ramp up to dining area

Really enjoyed our meal staff pleasant and friendly. Nice clean lovely atmosphere. Slight discrepancy on bill which we didn't notice which was annoying. But we would go again definitely.

Mangrove got us a table for 4 last minute as where we had booked had double booked us. Absolutely deliciousfood and the service was amazing. Friendly, polite and would definitely recommend.
