BELOW AVERAGE at best! Dry meatballs and pasta and hardly any meat in ragu. Very disappointing!!! Service was also poor. Would NOT recommend.

A great restaurant, with beautiful decor inside and out. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Although it took a while for our drinks to arrive, the food arrived quick and tasted fresh.
It's good value for money and I would definitely visit again for an evening meal with friends and family.

We had a fabulous breakfast here today. Naomi hosted us and she was so professional, advising us on the menu, attentive and very thoughtful. We loved everything about Il Rosso and we will most definitely be back! Thank you Naomi .

Having left Mansfield 40+ years ago I was prepared for this place being 'good for Mansfield' IYKYK but it was so much better! Gavi de Gavi at £38 a bottle? (Don't judge I live down south) service and food both excellent. Our waiter Naomi was a delight, very efficient and charming. Hate to say it but I will go back... even though it's in Mansfield!

Came to Il Rosso for a private birthday party. The place was nice and the staff was friendly. The food was gorgeous; the only downfall was that the bar in the back area was very small, so I had to wait a while in the queue to get a drink. Other than that, I will return.

The chef didn't understand what rare, medium rare and medium was. Good service. Noisy on a Saturday night. Nice food otherwise

They always seem to drop the ball when it comes to service, and the staff use the same excuses as to why it's been over an hours weight. Food can be hit and miss. Been served after waiting for so long, cold food.
