“Having taken my Mercedes SLK to a local independent parts supplier/fitter, I was told that they wouldn't be able to fit the new dipped headlamp bulbs, due to the wheels needing to be removed. I have used this company for years, and I must say, I was a little disappointed.

I have always been a little sceptical of large chains, and reluctantly booked with Halfords Mansfield.

The online booking was very easy. I was greated on arrival and seen promptly. The young lady who fitted the bulbs gave exceptional customer service. The whole job was completed within 10 minutes, at a very competitive price.

What really stood out was the service received. On a rather cold a blustery day, it was refreshing to see someone that genuinely seemed to be enjoying her job and customer interaction. A credit to the company, and I will certainly be returning in the future.”

“Would normally recommend this shop to anyone but yesterday I felt I had a really bad experience at the Mansfield, Nottinghamshire store yesterday. I found a lovely jumpsuit/dungarees for my holiday. It was black with sunflowers on. The size 18 was far too big and the rest were 8-12. I was going to order online but then noticed there was one in the window. I went back in the store to ask if someone would look at the size for me. The manager came (a lady with shoulder length dark hair and glasses - didn’t get her name) but just said “oh it will be a small size as that’s all we put in the displays” and walked off. So I went in the window and it was a 16. So I went to find her and asked her to look at again and she said “who went in to look” I told her me! Reluctantly she went to the window. Took it off the display and literally threw it at me. Terrible customer service. The item wasn’t cheap either and we had already spent a considerable amount of money on my daughters earlier. Won’t be purchasing anything from here again.”

“Wonderful experience for me today. Went to collect an item ordered online but had a quick look around for myself whilst there. Lovely lady on the ship floor helped me out with a stock enquiry then quickly jumped on the tills when she saw a queue forming. Makes a refreshing change to see colleagues taking a proactive approach. We need more people like this in shops!”

“I don’t normally leave reviews BUT…Annie was AMAZING. On the same day I went to get a bra fitting at another (very well known) store locally in Mansfield. After having my third baby I definitely needed to be fitted correctly. I left the larger “specialist” store feeling confused and disappointed. I was told that my current bra size was more or less correct (it really wasn’t !) and I was given bra choices which were dated and gave a poor shape, not to mention the poor fit (not all women want to look like they have pointy breasts!)I left without buying anything and decided to find a nicer bra elsewhere - I went into Ann Summers Mansfield and picked a few bras in my “correct size”. I tried them on and liked the look of them but the fit was off on the back and the cup (apparently I was this size !) I pressed the help button and asked if I could have another slightly bigger cup size - Annie was polite and asked if she could come in to see which bra it was - yes I said and I’m so glad she did !!! She took one look at my bra and said what size are you wearing ? Your not that size - she didn’t even need to measure me she knew exactly what I needed by sight (shows she knows her stuff!) she told me my band size was too big and my cup size too small. She also explained why poorly fitting bras sit a certain way on the body and hinder a smooth silhouette.She came back and bought me a new bra in a different back and cup size (completely different to the other store fitting by almost 3 cup sizes! the band fitting was 2 inches too big in the previous shop too!). That bra Annie bought in was the best fitting bra I have EVER tried on. I bought two but would have been more if I wasn’t in a rush.I attempted to leave feedback or a review directly on the Ann Summers website but couldn’t find anything - I just needed to share my experience and hopefully help other women in my position.Annie was very knowledgeable and professional, it was clear to see she enjoys her job and is passionate about the products Ann Summers provide, most importantly she was really likeable , down to earth and has the ability to make you very very comfortable and not feel at all self conscious- which is a very special trait to have in such a personal line of work where your customers are in a potentially vulnerable position wearing very little ! The store was extremely busy and it was clear she was run off her feet but she remained calm and professional at all times. She is an absolute credit to the store and the company !If you want a good bra fitting…GO TO ANNIE you won’t be disappointed and the bra sizes available in store were the most diverse I’ve seen locally out of any supermarket or clothing store ! Really good choice of colours and styles (not all ultra racy if you want something a little more wearable - loads of beautiful pretty bras too, suitable for every day wear.)Amazing customer service thankyou .”
