My partner went to sell his gaming pc which he brought for a lot of money brand new, this item was in pristine condition and worked perfectly fine. They took hours to test it before coming back with that they can buy it for £200 bearing in mind this pc was worth 800 ish second hand when we told them that was a rip off they said yeah we buy it of you for 200 and then sell it for 700. Absolute rip off and a waste of time.!

Went to the store today as my partner was miss sold a 2230 instead they gave her a 2280 I don't no if this was because she's a female so i went back got a refund ask if the have a nvme 2230 she brings me one I said that's sata not nvme staff seem to be under trained and don't no what they are on about will not be shopping here anymore I'll stick to amazon or Ebay at least you get what you ask for

I visited this place today with my brother to sell a DJI quadcopter. What I thought would be a quick, easy process, turned out to be a laborious waste of everyone's time. I had an hour and a half carparking, and CEX chose to leisurely um and arr about it, giving a story that it would need extensive testing now going over to the next day. I could see where this was heading, and my gut feeling was they were going to try and find a way to devalue the price even more. As they couldn't test it in time, I decided to leave with my item and it'll go on eBay. My brother also noticed they had written down b-grade. This item is as new and doesn't have as much as dust on it. B-grade it is not. It's been a total waste of our time this evening, travel, parking, frustration. Sorry CEX, but we won't be coming back, lesson learned, stick with eBay, I'll get 40% more money too.

This CEX has super friendly and helpful staff who like to make sure everyone can access the store. They have a no nonsense attitude to drama which can occur at times in these stores, but they manage it really well.
Most used products have a five year warranty which makes it better than buying new. No brainer.

I have been trading a few bits over the past week or two and the transactions and customer service have been second to none even with items that didn't meet there criteria. I bought a Galaxy watch of them recently and the lady (blonde hair) was so helpful and lovely. The taller gentlemen that also served me was also really great too. I've always felt very welcome in this store. Highly recommend.

Expect to be lied to about the condition of your item if they don't want the stock. Told that they won't accept a oculus quest 2 without the original head strap. I told him it has the original strap in the box and then he changed the story quickly to oh it's got scratched, there are no scratches it was simply dust.

I bought headphones and while I buying them the lady sales assistant told me it has a 2-year warranty and that if they did not suit us they would return the cash back. But the next day I returned it and at that time the guy who checked it told me they couldn't return the money and they would give us a credit voucher and we could buy another item later. I?m disappointed and unsatisfied ?
