Opening hours that don?t work for people in employment and minimal staffing, long waits in branch

Travelled from kirkby to the mansfield branch as it is the nearest branch to me to pay in cash on a Sunday and the machine was out of order ...waste of fuel and my time ..the branch should put a message saying machine not working on its Web page...customer service ...oh no they don't have that either anymore ...rubbish!!!!!

Barclays Mansfield have been of considerable help to me on many occasions.When I had no income for a while, they helped me. Sorting out division of funds when my brother died. And far to many other times to mention.Friendly and very supportive.

Big thanks to the staff member walking the floors to ask customers what they needed to do - I think her name was Sue. She helped with a business banking deposit today as I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to be doing!

I was dubious about going into Barclays today after reading previous reviews. How wrong was I! Staff were polite and helpful and dealt with customers questions and pointed everyone in the right direction. Thanks Barclays Mansfield

Awful experience- accosted on the way in & they demand to know what you want. They demanded I used the machines instead of going to the counter- the machines failed 3 times to count the cash so I still had to go to the counter- thanks for wasting my timeToday 1.40 I was told to come back tomorrow before 1pm as they now shut the one & only till at 1pm. All I wanted to do was exchange a damaged note. Useless unbelievably poor customer service.I walked across the square to Lloyds to where 3 tolls were open & changed the damaged note & they didn?t even care that I don?t bank with them.

Trying to get through to talk to someone, is like pulling your teeth out. What I want can't be done through the app and that's all they want you to do.
