Actually awful. No customer service what so ever. No one checks up on tables/ customers. The food was almost inedible. I'm pretty sure the pizza was from a box, and the texture of the braised beef was that of cat food. Extremely salty. The beef, the sauce, and the veg. It's not worth the money or time. We originally wanted dessert, but no one could even be bothered to take our plates or check on us, so we left.

This was my 1st visit here in a party of 11
(9 adults & 2 kids ) for a family lunch .The meals had already been chosen as requested at the time of the booking, which was around 4 weeks earlier, maybe due to it being on Mother's Day ? It's located next to a golf course & does have plenty of parking spaces in front of the building. There are a good number of tables outside which are undercover. Once inside ,the bar & restaurant areas are very spacious with a rustic style decor. The staff on duty were very pleasant at the bar & during table service.All the meals & including those who had room left for deserts ,looked to be very nice indeed & everyone enjoyed their food, i had the roast beef burrito which I would recommend. Probably, only disappointment being the meals actually came out the kitchen in dribs n drabs, so timings weren't the best to say the place wasn't that busy .Still , I enjoyed the visit & would recommend it it to family & friends. Cash or card payments are accepted.

Came for the first time a few weeks ago, and it's now become something of a local.
Friendly staff with great service and great selection of beers.

Visited here on Sunday, food was lovely, atmosphere was welcoming but most importantly, my party was served by the gorgeous Alyssa, she really did give us a positive experience with smiles and laughs all round! Give her a pat on the back from me!

Family dinner, travelling in from abroad. Alisha our waitress was superb, even though only her second day on point.
The menu is extensive, well varied with something for everyone?s appetite.
Bar is well stocked with a huge beer and wine, let?s not overlook the very well stocked bourbon arsenal as well.
Portions are huge, table of five full meal, bar drinks and desert less than 165 Pounds!
Definitely the best of the best in 10+ dining trips on this tour of review series titled ?family dining out in Great Britain?
Do yourself a favour and visit tap house Mansfield!?

Me and my husband came here last year and everything was lovely so we decided to book a table for 14 people for 2 of our kids birthdays tonight. We pre ordered food but when we arrived the manager couldn?t see it, said he?d go check and disappeared and never came back, husband had to go find him. Starters were lovely, no complaints there. The mains however were absolutely disgusting! 8 out of 14 meals were inedible. The braised lamb that cost nearly £20 could only be described as looking like a tin of cat food that had just been dumped on top of some extremely salty potatoes and undercooked peas! Whatever sauce they used was so bitter it was awful. Honestly never seen or tasted anything like it, absolutely foul! 2 steak and ale pies were so overcooked our family couldn?t get their knife through it. Husbands bbq ribs were overcooked, and couldn?t even get them off the bone, sister in law couldn?t eat her lasagne because of the amount of seasoning they put in it. The chicken on the Sunday dinner was so overcooked it was too hard to cut through. Not once during the entire meal did a member of staff come see if everything was ok or if we needed anymore drinks. When my husband complained about the food we didn?t even get an apology but the manager agreed to take those meals off the bill. Honestly this place has gone so far down hill I can?t see it lasting much longer. Plenty of staff around, place was absolutely dead but we had to keep going to the bar to reorder drinks. Paid over £200 and most of us left still hungry. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone, I wouldn?t put my worst enemy through the expensive experience we had!

Good place, we went there to eat pork knuckle and we were not disappointed. The meat literally melted in your mouth, the skin was crispy as it should be. We will definitely go back there again.

We came here to stay after a disaster Airbnb and the Manager was brilliant. He ensured our rooms were warm and welcoming and found us a really nice table in the restaurant.
Nothing was too much trouble.
