Awful service at this pharmacy, this morning called to collect both mine and my wife's prescriptions as we had texts to say they were ready, I was told you can't have them as there is no pharmacist on duty, now normally when you do collect your prescription they get it from the rack, bring it to you, check your address and give it to you, the pharmacist has nothing to do with it, so what is the difference. I have cancer and we both have walking difficulties and we used to have their delivery service which was fine but earlier this year they told us due to staff problems delivery not possible so you will have to collect them, also a few months ago I went collect and was told we can only find your prescription not your wife's, when I got home and opened my bag of medication my wife's prescription form was in my bag, so I went back to Rowlands and said could that be the reason you couldn't find it, then told it will be ready in a few days, this is the worst service in any shop in Mansfield Woodhouse, the staff would rather stand talking than come the counter to serve customers so I will be looking into finding another Pharmacy with a delivery service.

Always seems to have slow service, don't ever go if you're in a rush. But I suppose it's important to check things are right more than once.
Sometimes it's busy with staff one day, other days it seems like a skeleton crew.
The staff were polite enough but I suppose they have some difficult custom also.

We waited for the pharmacy to open it had gone past 9. We had a prescription to pick up I handed it over to the employee who was chewing gum the whole time she was talking to me, who said ?computers are down can?t do it? we asked if they would be back on soon and she shrugged her shoulders still chewing gum and said ? I dunno? we ended up needing to purchase an item from the store which I said ok well I?ll just get this please, we hand her the money she comes back ?we haven?t cashed up yet so can?t accept cash? why haven?t they cashed up from the night before? And you?re late opening so what is going on? I ended up paying by card. She asked if I wanted my receipt I said yes, she seemed annoyed that I had said yes, The whole interaction was weird , the lady who served us seems too laid back, chewing gum is fine but when you?re taking to customers and not really being polite it come across arrogant. I used to use this pharmacy all the time haven?t been in since pre Covid and it?s awful. No items on shelves its all bare and depressing, staff seem irritated with you already and they are always late opening just to find when you get inside they still aren?t ready to run a business, why open the doors if you can?t take cash sales or take prescriptions ? ?it?s a chemist?what else would people come in for?- also the lady on the door who let us in could have said something before letting us all walk up to the counter to be told they can do nothing really. Gone down hill massively and even the responses to bad reviews are copied and pasted 0 care.

I can?t believe how bad this pharmacy is.
I booked my COVID 19 booster online and my appointment time was 14:40. I arrived 5 mins early, initially thought the place was closed due to the poor state of the exterior, and joined a long queue of people waiting to be served. When I reached the counter I booked in and was told to take a seat. I sat down next to a lady who asked if I had filled in a form ( she had also not been given one, but had asked for a form after seeing other people filling them in). I went back to the counter and asked the same assistant for a form - she wasn?t aware that she should be given them out and had to ask a colleague and where they were! I was then given a form and a pen, but nothing to lean on like a clipboard, so had to just rest on my leg.
I then found out from other people that they had been waiting for over 45mins since their appointment time, one couple gave up and walked out. I was finally called in for my vaccination at 15:20, 40mins after my appointment time. The pharmacist then said that he couldn?t read the form as the writing was too small/difficult to read (I wonder why!), and proceeded to ask me all of the information again so that he could input it into the computer.
My 5min COVID booster took an hour!
Only use this pharmacy if you?ve got plenty of time and you?ve got no problem with poor customer service.

What a truly badly run pharmacy, never in my entire life have I been to a place that sets an appointment for a COVID jab , and keeps you waiting over an hr plus. Some people had been waiting for over an hr and a half after there appointment time. I cancelled after this time and rebooked with another place that was more competent!!!!

My partner has just arrived home severely stressed out after dealing with one of your staff members who was extremely rude to him for no good reason other than through fault of her own as she claims she didn't know he wasn't there waiting but had already taken his prescription!!! looked at him multiple times during his 45 minute wait and didnt utter a word. Surely If you don't remember serving someone and you can see that they have been waiting a long time, why not ask if he was okay etc? Poor poor service, considering this is a care based service and everyone who enters your store is there because they are unwell and need help, the level of care wasn't not there from your member of staff who served my partner and as I said above, left him feeling stressed out and discriminated against. Also to add, when he said that he will go elsewhere, her reply was 'good' .... shame on you. I will also be reporting this to higher management within your company to investigate further. If I could give you 0 stars I certainly would.

I passed my prescription to the lady at the till who never processed it and left me sat waiting for 40 minutes and then denied I'd even spoke to her. Not very friendly at all and happy to leave customers sitting around with no interaction.
Will not be using again, which is good said the staff member when I was leaving.

What a total waste of time this Chemist is.Called in today to buy a tube of Volteral ,stood at the counter around 10 minutes while all members of staff around 6 or 7 of them mingled about doing nothing at all. Now and again they gave me a glance but that was all. Walked out and will never go there again .

I thought that the previous chemist was bad enough but this one beats that!!! Prescription list in the system, rang GP and it was received at the chemist on Friday! They work Saturday am, BH on Monday, rang Tuesday but not delivered yet??? Told the prescription is sent away for ROBOTS to make up and returned? They would be delivered today after 12moon?? They wood text, no text at 1.25pm so rang again to be told they would be in now TOMORROW!!! So I?ve had no medication for 2 days which I HAVE to take every day! Told to come round and they?d have to give me any they have in stock till tomorrow? How can it be SO difficult just to process a prescription and staff be consistent with their replies?

If you had problem with your meds they sort it out quickly and there's never a lot of people there when I've been all the staff in there are very nice and friendly
