I was the 1st customer at the 8.30 opening time, no 'good morning' greeting, no smile, only met with sarcastic comments to my enquiry. The till receipt says served by 'maria', ....I would suggest that she has some training in customer service/interaction as her her 'skills' are seriously lacking.

Nothing but awful service?Ordered prescriptions through the app to be delivered but would never receive them. Each time I went into the chemist their systems would be down, they wouldn?t have a prescription for me or they would say ?you?re with well online? but would still never receive my inhalers. Staff can be rude and unhelpful and wont even attempt to help.Changed to boots pharmacy and they have been much better in helping.

I'm not sure if it is every well pharmacy but after transfering from one to another im starting to think that. Like some of the other reviews have said, the staff can be very rude. I got to the pharmacy at 8:57 and was told at the front door to come back later....they open at 9. So Instead of going for a jog i waited those 3 whole minutes for the same receptionist to be rude and give me a weird look when I mention my name. Thanks again, Well.

rude staff. A very old gentleman was in the chemist and told the Lady with dark hair pony tail that he had a flu jab booked in and her response was find that hard to believe we only doing them between covid jabs?? Didn?t even ask his name or try and help the poor old man & in the end he left. This gent was old and wasn?t very steady on his legs. She also said have you got your phone with email but he told her he doesn?t have a email but no reply from her. It was actually sad to see this old man not knowing what to do he even told her the time he was booked in. Absolutely disgustingly rude and they have a policy that they have to be treated with respect well practice what you preach in future.

If you have to go to a Well Pharmacy in the area this is the one to go to. Staff are friendly and helpful unlike the Annesley Woodhouse branch. They managed to sort me out with my Flu and Pneumonia vaccines that Annesley were supposed to supply and administer but after booking it a month prior they had neither the vaccines or staff to administer them and seemed completely unaware of my appointment. The Kirkby branch dealt with me in a professional manner even if I was a bit of a grumpy customer when I came in having been fobbed off by the Annesley branch. While I was there a chap came in to collect a prescription and they didn't have what he needed so they phoned around all the other chemists in Kirkby until they found one that had what he needed. That is top class and a fine example of what the Annesley branch should have done instead of telling me to phone around other branches myself. The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is the area management and above is clearly lacking for a store to be as bad as Annesley.

Up until recently I would have given a higher rating to this Chemist. We have used this Chemist for a lot of years(when it was co-op and since Well has taken over). For the last few months they have got my husband's prescription wrong, starting when they gave him a double lot, which we immediately reported to them. They said not to worry and that he should wait for 2 mths to pick his prescription up next. He followed their advice but in the interim they sent out a letter informing him if he did not pick up his prescription, they would take him off the register. He went to the Pharmacy and again they told him they would sort it(they took back the letter they sent )My husband is 68 yrs old, he has COPD and high BP and is also very hard of hearing. He came back from his visit today very distressed The lady chemist accused him of being aggressive while he was speaking to one of the assistants and told him to take this business elsewhere. This was not the first time this lady had treated my husband badly as on 2 prior occassions she completely blanked him when he was at the counter but then served someone else who just walked through the door, he had not called her attention as he could see she was busy and was willing to wait until she had finished her task at hand.I am very disappointed at this situation as we had built up a rapport with the staff and have always been treated with excellent care and in a professional manner. I hope this issue is addressed asap to ensure no one else is caused any distress.
