Lovely staff, lovely building / setting. Genuinely interesting food options with a few classics thrown in for good measure.
We just popped in on the off chance while visiting family and this place will now be our go to when in the area. Thanks for a lovely meal!

The ambience was enchanting, with warm sunlight cascading through the open spaces, creating a perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The food was nothing short of delectable, each dish bursting with flavour and crafted to perfection. However, I was taken aback by the leisurely pace of the service, which felt slower than I had anticipated.

A group of 7 of us met here on Saturday to celebrate a number of our birthdays. We like it here because the food is prepared from scratch & is always superb quality. I personally, had the *** Roast Butternut Squash, Cumin & Saffron Spiced Red Lentils, Hazelnuts & Sweet Chilli *** & it was absolutely delicious. All my friends commented on how much they'd enjoyed their meals too. Thank you, we'll be back!

Myself and my friends paid a visit for the Christmas Ladies night last night. It was a such a lovely evening. Super friendly warm welcome from the manager, great service from herself and the waitresses throughout the evening. The food was amazing and their was such a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend and already looking forward to visiting in the New Year.

Excellent meal at the Plough and the service was without fault. Food was superb and a decent couple of ales. Lunchtime on a Thursday was a quiet day which made it even better. Highly recomended.

Visited The Plough with friends for a meal and quiz night. The food quality was excellent, the staff (especially the bubbly landlady) were friendly and efficient and, to top it all we won £90 in one of the pub games. That this remote pub was packed with customers reflects that it's a very good option for a good evening out.

Staff were friendly and as tentative as I would expect from a "garden pub" seated outside. The food wasn't bad, although the burger buns weren't brioche as stated and were sesame seed and slightly stale, but not too bad. The outside table we were seated at didn't have a weight for the umbrella to hold in place and whenever the wind blew the pole would slide down at an angle and almost knock us out on a few occasions. We would definitely go back as its still a decent place to go eat and chill.

Had a private party upstairs in the function room. Nice room for a small group of people (30-36) to get together. Easy to decorate for a party and have a buffet. Has an adjoining roof terrace with stairs to the carpark behind.
Food was lovely, especially the thick, fat chips. Vegetarian options available. Staff was very friendly, in particular Becky, whose enthusiasm was brilliant.
Possible parking on small carpark (4-5 places) behind The Plough or on the street. Huge beer garden with picnic tables and play area for kids. Looked fun.
Sanitary area small and old.

went for a meal and was fantastic menu says locally sourced food and never frozen even for kids menu and you can taste it was brilliant.
service from becky manager
ethan the waiter and nick at bar was top class
all warm polite and perfectly professional.
later told was a busy day and a staff member short but you wouldn't have known service as stated was outstanding
will be returning soon
