At last, I have found a cafe that I enjoy coming to! The cafe in Tesco is welcoming, clean and the staff are so helpful & approachable. I must admit I did struggle with the ordering because I wanted to pay cash, but I got it figured out in the end & it won't put me off returning. My sausage & egg muffin was hot & egg cooked just right, the coffee was also very good. A little pricey in my opinion but I have learnt you pay for what you get & definitely recommend this place, bonus when the food is not only edible but also delicious!!

Very disappointing only 1x till open before 8am, No supervisor or Manager around to short the problem, self service not open too for trolleys, plus the floor cleaner is dangerous, our fast he goes around the store, I am sure there's a better time for the floor to cleaned like 6am

As far as Tesco Extras go, this is a small one. As such there is not much variety. They don't have much space to use, however they also seem to have used it inefficiently -- there's a whole second floor that's not even worth visiting.
This should be a Tesco Superstore rather than an Extra, but even then you'll struggle to to beat the variety of a usual Superstore.
The other aspects are the shop are typically satisfactory relative to what you expect of a Tesco.

Just went to do a shop with my asleep in his pram, struggling with my basket and pushing the pram and was really surprised when a member of the staff asked if she can help and carried my basket and shown me to the items needed. Thank you Lilleigh ?

Head and shoulders above any other supermarket cafe I've ever been to, and on a par with many high street cafes. Spacious, airy and clean environment, friendly staff and good quality food and drinks. Ordering is via electronic screen, which some may dislike as there appears no way to modify the offerings, but table service is organised through the screen too.

First visit to new cafe , loved the screen order system ( we are pensioners btw ) . The two staff we interacted with Erica and Charlotte were both lovely and has service with a smile ?.
We had ham/cheese toastie and ham/cheese panini to compare . Both £4.50 and of good size . Tip - go for toastie as it has more cheese ?.
Bill with one tea £10.95 . Compare that to last week's lunch at the Southwell Minster cafe where we shared just ONE ham/cheese panini between us . Slightly larger and had small salad/few crisps on plate . One tea also - £23.45. !!!!!!

How much can you rely on a firm that hasn't even learned to tell the time? According to the website the store closes at lunchtime, or 12.00a.m.. Tesco don't seem to know that we count numbers from 1 to 12, the sequence finishing with the largest number, not just before the largest number, so if 1.00 to 11.00 is am, so is 12.00 and the same for the p.m. sequence. Who started this dopey idea that it changes from a.m. to p.m. before it's reached the actual end of the sequence?
