I visited this Argos last week on Saturday and Lily was super helpful, she was so patient with me answering all my questions with a smile on her face, she?s a credit to the store. I?ll definitely be back!!

Don't even think 1 is acceptable for this rating. Delivery suppose to turn up Thursday, never did. So suppose to be delivered today. Still not turned up. The sheer disbelieve of how you all expect me to cancel my hospital appointment that is going to help me safe my life so you can deliver my appliance. I keep saying I'll be in hospital for weeks due to immunology and unsure how I will progress or let alone if I'll survive it. But no no, argos wants me to go hospital then come back and then go back to hospital. There are no better term to use that what a waste of a service.

Grumpiest female staff ever ???? never known anything like it. Rude and attitude. Seems as though this store has different rules to other argos. Can't return a faulty item as isnt in its original packaging? Yet ilkeston argos accepted it back no issues, with politeness.

As a customer who spends thousands in argos, I was left very annoyed with my visit yesterday. I have brought 2 glass kettles which have both smashed to peices. Once by putting on a colder surface ( I brought same kettle as thought maybe my fault) and the second one smashed after a small box of cocktail sticks (same weight as a biro) fell around 60cm from my cupboard above and knocked the spout. There's no way this should be smashing glass that is supposed to be holding boiling water. I took back to store as I believe it's faulty, I would of been happy with a new kettle or credit note. However amber who served me, didn't really listen to what I was saying and was dismissive from the start. Refused to listen to my explanation and said this was accidental damage and basically my fault. She came across condescending to another staff member and dismissed anything I said. She needs re training, whole time face of a wet weekend. I also witnessed her be blunt and abrupt to a previous customer before I was served. I work in management customer facing role myself, and If I had staff in my job act this way, I'd be embarrassed. Her whole demeanor is wrong for a customer service role. This has put me off shopping with argos again.

Visited the store today to purchase a Item and had a sainsbury discount card which my wife and I use both cards on named under my wife's name with signature 1 and signature 2. The card I held had my signature was in signature 1 and the card my wife's users her signature was In signature 1 also. both cards are under my wife's name. We never had any issue in 5 years of using them at argos stores or sainsbury stores. Amber who served me firstly had a attitude towards me as soon as I presented the card to her and wouldn't accept it because she stated both box of signatures needs to be signed which is ridiculous I even shown her a driving licence with matching signature and she is starting they don't match? She was very rude and unprofessional. She wouldn't help me In the slightest I told her my wife can send her staff I.D card but she was not being helpful at all. Amber needs to be trained in customer service!

Vr broke the other day and we brought it to argos for a refund because my dad got three year accident insurance on it but then the woman said that we couldn?t cus it was accidental insurance and apparently it didn?t break accidentally even though they have no proof of it never coming back here again don?t go

Manager Carl has no skills or knowledge how to resolve customer issues.
Lady did not want to accept return even Argos already confirmed that I?m entitled to refund under 30 day money back guarantee.
Then waited 20min for ?manager? Carl that has not even give a chance to explain it?s just said that his colleague has already made a decision and he will not process it and asked me to go to another store, which I have ended up going to and had no problem to return in another store!

Returned a hearing aid to the Hucknall branch. First or all it was FAULTY . Second was still within the 30 day Argos no quibble return time. A member of staff ask me to ring the manufacturer for a reference number. Wrong they do not do anything like that. They told me Argos should refund. To cut along story short. A lovely young girl at the Perry road branch refunded with no problem. Also explained about returning items in general. I will be sending a copy of email to the store as proof

Awful experience at Hucknall. Unhelpful Manager who just argued. I returned a Baby monitor that I bought last month as the screen was no longer working and wouldnt charge when plugged in, took it back for an exchange and he refused because I didnt have the original packaging it came in. I spoke to Argos online who confirmed the original packaging is not needed for a faulty item to be exchanged. I took the monitor to a different Argos store and got an exchange no issues. Wont be shopping at Hucknall store anymore. Unhelpful and giving out wrong information and thats the Manager.

Very disrespectful and unprofessional staff. Seem to be dealing with customers based on their colour rather than giving them equal respect. Not helpful at all and very racist. Deserves no stars at all in me was to only right this review

The staffs don?t have basic respect towards the customers, especially the manager. He was being so rude and harsh to me and my father. We purchased a TV in store and we took it home . As we turned on the tv the screen wasn?t working properly. So we brought it back the next day to exchange it or refund it but the manager was like no. There was no physical damages to the tv as the tv is brand new. Won?t recommend this store again to anyone. Just wasted so much money on that tv and we can?t get a refund or an exchange of product. I would say one of the raciest store I?ve been to.

Always walk in and the staff just stare at you and then when you try and purchase anything and return anything they become rude and act smart. Also sign says they are open till 8pm outside but that?s wrong.
