Coffee and cake, well worth the visit

We waited for the colleague to finish his conversation with one of the other colleagues about their private lives before he could be bothered to acknowledge us and serve us. I ordered a toasted teacake which took so much time coming that my coffee became luke warm. He came across to tell me that the first teacake was burnt as they didn't hear the toaster alarm, probably because they were too busy talking amongst themselves. When the teacake finally arrived it was also lukewarm and definitely had no evidence of being toasted. We watched them serve other customers and they were treated the same. Over all a bad experience at the Giltbrook Starbucks. The staff couldn't be bothered and it showed!

I visit Giltbrook Starbucks twice weekly with my Daughter. We visit regularly because the staff no matter how busy, are always so welcoming, friendly and polite as well as making the best drinks. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them - so big thank you to you all. Thanks to Bijou who went out of her way with customer service on our visit today ????? Starbucks are lucky to have such fantastic staff at their Giltbrook store.

Good coffee, good service. Quite a small cafe but great selection of food and drinks and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options!Vegetarian options: I recommend the vegan breakfast sandwichDietary restrictions: Vegan options are good, gluten free options could be better

I use Starbucks regularly so my loyalty to a company is dependent on their service and the products they offer. I must say that all Starbucks are not the same. The taste of the drinks depends on the barista?s knowledge. I had a caramelised Maca oat milk latte, the best drink I have had at Starbucks and the food service and drinks service with a smile. Thank you ?

Understand a morning rush. but another barista needed, too slow, people passing to go to work shouldn't be waiting 15/20 mins for a coffee.
